I bet you'd like it Lynroy...so long as you're with friends. I'm pretty anti-social, but I'd play it with friends myself.
But you're a writer and an RPG player.... it's tailor made for you. ![]()

Damn it, now I want to play Black Flag again. ![]()
Best game in the franchise.

Best game in the franchise.
Is it that good? I have 3 and 4.. just haven't played them.
I was gonna play ME2 soon. It's too bad this wasn't easily moddable. I'm spoiled by Skyrim now. There's so many things I'd like to tweak about all 3 ME games. It's a hassle to even make the console work in 2. They went out of their way to lock it down.
Black Flag is a very, very good game.
I would put it close to, if not the best game in the franchise.
It doesn't have you play as an Assassin. It has you play as a pirate that happens to find himself in the middle of the never ending conflict.
The world is massive. I think it's the biggest game in the franchise as well in terms of area you can go to.
It's just a great game. You don't need to be a fan of Assassin's Creed to be a fan of Black Flag.
OMG that's awesome!
I went to GameStop and bought a Nintendo eshop card for 20.- CHF. Pokemon Red/Blue/Yellow are on sale (30% less), tho idk which one I want to get. (I already have all three, but they're supposed to be compatible wth Sun & Moon)
Gimme all the raisins!
BLUE! BLUE! BLUE!

Are you knocking down a person's building blocks, Miles?
I played a lot of D&D growing up it was fun just because you could always make up crazy stuff to happen and it would be this crazy adventure. It was totally an inspiration for early Bioware (BG was based on 2ed and Forgotten Realms).
I think these days a Planecsape setting might get me into it, famous for being one of the more unique settings.
Nice and creepy!
BLUE! BLUE! BLUE!

But, but, but in Yellow you get all three Starter and the only Pokemon you can't get, are those I don't really are about anyway. *cough*
I think Mew was my favorite Pokemon
Been to a cinema for that movie... Still remember that, somehow.

Hmm, good point! I never had Yellow so I don't have any nostalgia feelings about that one. GET YELLOW!
Status update: Just hatched a Habitak. ![]()
Wait... it doesn't have Raichu? That's a bit odd. And no Mauzi? BUT MIAUZ GENAU! ![]()

I think I enjoyed Yellow more than R/B to be honest.
^ I went with Blue, had to trade for Red Pokemon ![]()
I think I'm changing my political party to Royalist ![]()
Now I just need to find a king or queen to believe in.

Sidenote I actually prefer Medraud (Mordred) in some ways...

I guess there's multiple versions, but I can't get the sinsiter, incestual version out of my head.
That's standard Mordred to me. I think Excalibur (movie) was the first Arthur story for me.

I have Red, 2 x Blue and Yellow
I think I will, firt Pokemon game where a Pokemon followed you around (tho it was only Pikachu)
Great!
Yes, they're not in Yellow. Raichu, because Ash's Pikachu didn't want to evolve and Mauzi, because it belongs to Team Rocket (same with Smogon & Rettan) and I think you can't get Bibor (Hornliu + Kokuna) because a Bibor chased Ash & Pikachu in the anime.
I think I enjoyed Yellow more than R/B to be honest.
Same IIRC. Well, Yellow and Red, my first Pokemon edition.

My very first Arthur story I ever saw, was this one
^ It's one of the best! I used to re-watch that one all the time. I can't believe how cheesy spectacular the theme was in retrospect lol.
I think honestly the best edition of Arthur I read was literally like your storybook version you can find in like an elementary school library or something. The worst I thought was actually The Once and Future King, pure torment to read that....post-modern King Arthur.... yay.....
I never saw Excalibur... just never got around to it. I still don't think I've seen something that really captured King Arthur well.. I think it's just a simpler story than people imagine it to be, just like some cool guy with his knights, rolling around doing good deeds for the common people, nothing really super epic or mythical about it in many respects, well though once again as long as you ignore the enormous world shattering conflict and deaths due to wars with Saxons.
Incest isn't in the earliest Arthurian tellings, but there was definitely something always kind of morbid and different about Mordred in all the stories... kind of made him more mysterious and exciting to me though I guess

I don't know if I want to suggest Excalibur. Maybe it's dated now. Haven't seen it in awhile, but it was cool at the time. It wasn't Conan the Barbarian, but none of those movies were.
