Man, I don't know what they did, but whenever I reinstall my digital deluxe version of Origins for Origin (well that's not confusing) it goes wonky as hell.  I'd rather just continue to use the Dragon Age Mod Manager that I always used to manage my mods and DLCs, but origin updated it to auto-load the DLCs and it whacked stuff up all to hell.  It's always a nightmare to reconfigure it after an installation now.

 

Plus, I sometimes get these dang physics (physix?) errors that I have to go look up how to fix every time.

 

ETA:  ToP?!  ToP!!   Asteria appreciates the finer things in life.

 

 

I guess I haven't used any mods that conflict with DLC. I had a lot of them installed though. The only problem I've run into is I couldn't just drag and drop any mods that were originally packaged as DAZip. I have to install the DAZip versions instead.

speaking of german, I was wondering if you could settle a dinner argument I heard tonight.

 

person A stated that variations such as Swiss German, High German, Low German, and Bavarian German are essentially so different that they are almost like different languages, so that a Swiss person and a Bavarian person would not really be able to understand each other. The comparison used was Portuguese to Spanish.

 

Person A is an american living in germany for 7 years.

 

Person B stated that they were told by multiple native swiss and germans that they could understand each other just fine, and that it was more like different dialects. The comparison used was Mexican Spanish to Argentinian Spanish to Castilian Spanish.  A few words and phrases are different but for the most part you can converse and understand each other just fine.

 

Which would you say is more accurate?

you can play Hex instead, its an online card game that is very similar to magic, but you don't need to know people, it matches you up

 

just google Hex TCG or Hex Shards of Fate

I didn't know you could play solo. MS gave one of their games for free once. 2014 or something. I have it, but never played it.

Okay, I always knew Solas could be a cold hearted SOB, but this really takes the cake.

This happens to me a lot. I do have all the ME games and dlc's (purchased each game separately for the bonus/special editions) .. only got ME trilogy because of the people in DQ, lmao. one palythrough, but loved it. I started another, should go back to it.

The sad part is the only reason I know of him is that song minus the lyrics is featured in Red Dead Redemption, one of my fav games. He's pretty awesome.
