Yeah i'm very disappointed that my xbox 360 died, solely because of that game. We have a ps4, not an xbox One so I'm out of luck being able to play it again. Love that game, and its addition : Undead Nightmare.

Ugh! I hate it when that happens  I always try to be careful with sugar in tea because if there's too much it ruins the thing for me. I even have some types without any sugar at all (like matcha and sencha).

I tweaked ME2's graphics at the highest possible settings and it still doesn't look much different than the original Xbox version (which is good). I guess that's a testament to the game's style.. I don't know.

 

It's nice to give Jack warp. Tried to make her a little more like the ME3 version.

 

Gave Jacob an assault rifle instead of shotgun.. Maybe I'll actually use him this way.

speaking of german, I was wondering if you could settle a dinner argument I heard tonight.

 

person A stated that variations such as Swiss German, High German, Low German, and Bavarian German are essentially so different that they are almost like different languages, so that a Swiss person and a Bavarian person would not really be able to understand each other. The comparison used was Portuguese to Spanish.

 

Person A is an american living in germany for 7 years.

 

Person B stated that they were told by multiple native swiss and germans that they could understand each other just fine, and that it was more like different dialects. The comparison used was Mexican Spanish to Argentinian Spanish to Castilian Spanish.  A few words and phrases are different but for the most part you can converse and understand each other just fine.

 

Which would you say is more accurate?

Hmm, I'd say it's a little bit of both.

 

I speak Züridütsch, that's the Swiss German dialect spoken in the Canton Zürich. Most of my german friends would understand me, but they had problems with a friend who talked Schwyzerdütsch (the dialect spoken in the Canton Schwyz).

A friend from Bavaria and I once played a "game", he wrote in Bavarian and I in Züridütsch and then we tried to understand each other, (normally everyone writes in standard german, no matter if Swiss, or German) it wasn't that bad. There were just some words we didn't understand from each others written stuff, understanding the spoken language is easier tho.

I went to Switzerland once! Understood the people for the most part but it was only one day and it was Basel so nearby our border anyway. /drink for Grützi

I've just downloaded it - tried to log in aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand the servers are down  I do live in rural Ireland though so I think it's going to be a bit of a challenge.
