I wonder the same   Oh! I totally forgot! Fought Rocko yesterday in Yellow. I forgot to train and just went into the Gym... Half my team died to his Kleinstein. Then his Lvl 12 Onyx beat my Lvl 10 Taubsi (my then stronges Pokemon) and all I had left was my Lvl 6 Nidoran♀.

Yeah, anyone wanting to know what people playing a tabletop RPG actually looks like should watch it to get an idea. Most players (and GMs) aren't actors and voice actors though, of course, and not all GMs are super crazy skilled as that Mercer fella is. Otherwise, yeah.

Plus, the vids are funny, intense, dramatic and very engaging.

I'm kind of excited about the SWTOR expansion... I think a lot of people forget that's even a Bioware franchise ehehe. Or maybe it's just because they have a separate community forum for them, not as interesting as this one though I'm afraid.

I got all hyped again with it's reveal saying just the name and released in Fall.. I'm only disappointed that the final chapter of current expansion got pushed back to just after my Thailand trip, I was hoping to have been able to play it before. I swapped from DAi exclusively for a year, to swtor almost exclusively since november

....except that one time, in a fantasy game. We all played ordinary people who ended up thrown together, rather than actual "adventurers". One guy played a shepherd, who had come to The City on search of his missing sheep. I played a guy who arrived driving a wagon... full of sheep.

(the player never caught on that they were his)

From the first moment I had to speak as my character I just decided to do it with a West Country (Devon/Cornwall) accent.

I did it for the entire game. For ten weeks.

Somehow more than half of my music library got deleted. Yay! *drink* Most of what was deleted were music files I've held onto for at least a decade. So glad I had it all backed up on my external drive. Just have to wait and drink while 40+ gigs are copied. /more drinking

Hmmm, I might change the tone of my voice, but I doubt I would try an accent. Swiss german only has dialects, no accents and if I'd play with my german friends, I'd just speak in standard german, which already makes my voice sound different.

Well, he never worked out that the sheep my character had were his... even when stood next to the wagon.  And after that things took a crazy turn and sheep were the last of anyone's worries.  Somehow my character's escapades ended being blown out of all proportion so the populace believed there was this magical, unkillable revolutionary fighting the authorities, and he managed to fool the officer in charge of finding the terrible outlaw that he was an army sergeant under his command... because not being magical, unkillable or a revolutionary it seemed to be the safest place to hide!

 

It was a slightly nutty game.

Oh. I am still not sure about the whole level thing, things seem to be very very random at times. I caught the Pixi with a normal Pokeball at the first try and it's supposed to be hard to catch. My first after BISA-BISA-BISASAM! was a freaking Rattfratz... in my kitchen lol. What did you pick as your starter?
