The wiki should get to work, archiving. There are a lot of links to dev comments here (particularly from Gaider) in regards to characters and factions in the games.

Also I find it ironical that one of the reasons for making this decisions is that devs don't come here anymore... As much as I can't argue that BSN is toxic, I'm afraid that as we are all humans, in this vast and flourishing interweb it's so easy sometimes to choose pleasant and flattering responses while ignoring or dismissing as subjective\unconstructive\untenable\hatersgonnahate any opinion that don't correlate with your own.
