Variety of gameplay is nice.  Skyrim wasn't nice, Eve wasn't nice, Far Cry 4 does not seem to have staying power for me.  Inquisition did it right, or as right as any game I have played done it so far, and Black Flag looks good to.  In terms of different stuff you can do within game to break up gameplay.

Black Flag is my favourite Assassins Creed game. The next one looks pretty cool but Pirates just top it for me.

LOL I'm shunning it too.. like I said, locked away in a cupboard. Meh, I like to consider it a "collectable item". You know, some useless nerdy thing that just sits there and does.. well.. nothing.

It may be worth something years in the future... *drink*

Oh yeah I was really intrigued by that, I did not think someone could ever convincingly do naval ship combat and still have a single character perspective from the 19th century...but seems they did.

Also I will probably not be buying the Witcher 3, ever, unless they drop the QTEs...and since I will never play Witcher 2 for that reason...why bother?!

That's what I love about Sandbox games i.e Saints Row. Open world is good just so long as there's heaps of fun **** to do. I still haven't gotten around to playing Infamous.. both of them are sitting on my shelf. But I'll have a crack one day. I'm also curious about Shadow of Mordor.. also on my shelf, waiting for me to devirginize it.

I couldn't finish SoM - it started off ok but I got bored. Traded it in.

Yeah, okay, cuz I wanna know why I couldn't side with Loghain in DAO and ensure Arl Eamon died and... *shuts the frak up and drinks and looks longingly at Bunny's cupcakes*   <<< that's not a euphemism.  She really has cupcakes.

Templars VS Mages?

Yep. If this forum is any indication.. still likely to cause bar fights.

LMAO!!

I love how everybody has to explain things just in case I take it the "wrong" way.

I'm more concerned as to why I couldn't just refuse Duncan altogether and murder knife him.. then join forces with the Darkspawn in some SJW campaign "darkspawn rights".. also, why couldn't I romance the archdemon?

You should get GTA V, only for the Online mode.

I haven't played a GTA game since 3 for the first Playstation, but this game is just insane. Believe me or not, it is one of the smartest (cultural context-wise) and thought-through games I have played in a while, and I was doing it a complete disservice by judging the franchise by its clichée clientel. It has an awesome character creator now with the next gen version, you can get any car and make it your own and customize it like in a legit racing game. There's even character stats which you can improve by training skills etc.

All in all, GTA Online is the closest thing to a present-day set RPG, really.

Darkspawn are people too, and demanding marriage equality for Darkspawn, if you do not like it, an Ogre will pummel your local chantry and burn down your Pizza shops....wait do they have Pizza in Thedas? :P

Why couldn't I tell Duncan to stuff it, murder knife him, then run off to the Free Marches, fall in love some noble and lie about my past?

I passed it to a friend first and they liked it - it was too much of a button-basher for me.

And I just started watching Game of Thrones so suddenly all those gifs now make sense...and I do not think I would accept a 'drink' offered to me by Cersi Lannister.
