It's not even 6am here...

I work night shift so things get screwed up real bad on the weekends. I went to sleep around 3 pm yesterday, woke up at 6:30 pm...been up since (It's nearly 1 am now). Normally I wake up between 2-3 am.

So far I have been lucky in that my fav character (well, since the end of season 1) has survived.  In fact, I think she'll survive the series.  At least I hope.

In the show, I don't know who my favourite would be. In the book, it's got to be Jon (from a point of view perspective) because I just can't stop myself from reading his chapters. They're just so good! He's also f*cking amazing in the show so... I dunno. I think I'll go with Jon as my favourite character.

Jesus f** Christ, now there are people on Tumblr and AO3 pairing Cullen and Samson...and it's way beyond a romantic relationship...

 

 

 

And guess what? Samson is portrayed as a bad guy, badmouthed and callow. Therefore, the fanfic writers have completely missed the point about Samson's overall personality.

 

For those who actually played DA2 and paid attention to the character's dialog in DA:I, they've long concluded he's exactly the opposite. He's mellow, concerned with the overall state of the templar order, melancholic and very much aware of how he helped perpetrated crimes against people who came to trust him.

He cares about his colleagues so much he even threatens the Envy demon if he lets the templars feel pain during the transformation process after being fed red lyrium.

 

 

The fanbase does lots of cool things, but this is just one of the dumb ones, the kind that makes you want to bang your head on a wall. 

 

And you know what the worst part is? If you complain, people will actually think you're anti-gay or something. 

 

HE'S NOT EFFING GAY. HE IS NOT THE CLASSICAL BAD GUY. HE IS NOT A STEREOTYPICAL BANDIT. STOP THIS SULLEN MADNESS. STOP PORTRAYING HIM OUT OF CHARACTER.
