On the other hand, I'm a hypocrite, cause I disliked being a Cousland for obvious reasons. I don't like playing female characters (in immersive RPG singleplayer stories). If someone says "I don't like playing as a black character because of auto insertion", I get it you know?

 

But I'm actually overjoyed that in DA, my favourite character can be just a cool dude who happens to be black. He doesn't talk street, he isn't laughing with his whole body and the "I'm too old for this sh*t!"-reference is actually funny since Murtaugh is a cool character who's only clichée for non-racial reasons. Don't know if that was the reasoning behind the choice, but I like to believe it.

 

Long story short, I try really hard not to be "that guy". But sometimes I see people have less of a problem than playing with people of a different gender or even a different freaking species, than one from a different skin color. That's strange, and it seems kind of weird when you put it down like that.
