I rationed those supply caches so I didn't run out prematurely. Dorian loved those health potions. *drink* Good times.

Yeah, I'm wishing I'd brought Cassie instead of Varric. That would give me Cassie, Blackwall, Dorian (and me, the DW rogue.) One thing I may try out of desperation is to outfit a bow before unlocking that bloody door this time. Maybe hanging back will help... I haven't really put much into daggers, mostly stealth and that poison tree, so it shouldn't hamstring me too much. Pretty sure I picked up a few bows from loot.
Barring that, I guess I'll have to reload from before I started and go with a different teamJust kind of hate to do that, though, as it was a nightmare (no pun intended) all the way and I rather dread redoing it all. Basically a desperate dash from point to point and OMG thank you Bioware a supply cache periodically. Used every single one of them and never had more than 1 or 2 potions left when I found one.
Quick tips: most of the Poison tree sucks, especially poison itself, and the dagger tree is your main source of damage.
Twin Fangs + Winter's Grasp is your go to combo, Deathblow for finishing targets at 50% health (it has a bug where the second strike drains all of your stamina) and Flank Attack with it's upgrade for getting back to Stealth.

I'm only level 7, don't have that many points to disburse yet! The only reason I have that poison tree stuff was because I made a beeline for hook and tackle (and not about to give that sweet baby up) and poison weapons just came along for the ride.

Seriously though, it might pay to level up first otherwise the assault on Haven is gonna suck.

That's a fallback if I can't squeeze this out, reloading back at Haven and just trying later, but dag nabbit, I am soooo close! I mean, right at the door the lyrium shards unlock, miraculously got full (well close) health and 8 potions. If I can just get this last battle.
Thing is, I have realized that as a DW rogue I am going to have to get weapons that throw up guard and armor that heals if I am going to survive. That means Skyhold (and it was Lynroy IIRC who actually mentioned previously that it gets easier once you're there.) So oddly, I am hoping some desperate battles now early may actually make it easier in the long run.

If you're struggling there (and since the recommended level is 12, you probably will) then Haven will probably be worse.

My, the DQ has become so martial! I blame Paragon... Okay, -really- off to bed now.
*Roly heads off to lala land, humming the Cabot's Bar & Grill battle hymn.
Onward, DQ soldiers, marching as to war,
with the spigot of Cabot going on before.

Every great adventure involving killing, maiming and stealing other peoples stuff (otherwise known as adventuring) starts in a bar. It's the law!
Nothing like talking shop over a large, frothy mug of stout.

I gave Blackwall an armor that casts Walking Fortress on hit, and a shield & weapon that each give +5 guard on hit - you can break this game so delightfully with Masterworks!
btw Roy, my ranger has a coat that gives 10% cast Fade Cloak on hit - it's awesome.
You're invulnerable for 2 seconds, but mainly cause it also resets aggro each time. Since I cycle through Hook & Tackle -> Spike Trap -> Leaping Shot -> Throwing Blades ->Hook & Tackle ->.... endlessly with the Artificer's cooldown4crit perk, it kicks essentially all the time.
