I can't play anyone other than myself (I was just testing the bow with Sera), it truly does ruin my immersion.  Wait did I just say that?  *Drinks*  Oh, have a charcoal bonio pup, good for ...... intestinal disorders.  And chew it this time, and don't drink anything Roly gives you!

  I'm only level 7, don't have that many points to disburse yet!  The only reason I have that poison tree stuff was because I made a beeline for hook and tackle (and not about to  give that sweet baby up) and poison weapons just came along for the ride.

 

Level 7?  Are you insane!  I learned the hard way playing FF9 - went into the final boss fight at level 35 (oh yes I did!) After what seemed like hours (I think it was) and only having 3 characters left I was existing on limit breaks - kind of a special move that when you were close to death you pulled out this awesome fuckoff move.  Anyway, after I got my ass handed to me I didn't play it again for 3 months and when I went back to it I levelled up like a demon and went in at level 75 and destroyed her.  So, I always go in now at the recommend level or sometimes higher.  I didn't have to use my potion caches in Hushed Whispers or the siege at Haven on hard level, I expect nightmare level will be different through. I am an expert grinder .... probably explains why my playthroughs are so long

I'm always up for tactical talk. I find it more interesting than I probably should.

 

Ha, I just wish I was better at them - as a warrior I feel a bit like I'm bashing stuff a lot (sword and shield).  Grapple hook, kick, shield bash, whack whack whack, charging bull more whacks and on to the next one

Yay!  And now I'm conflicted for my elf playthrough - bow-wielding rogue or mage.  Wonder if mage would fit the story better.  Decisions decisions.  *Drinks*
