Jezebel Christ, JoH's final dungeon is such a loot fest.... it's making me cry tears of manly, emotionally distant joy.

 

I got two Tier 3 bow schematics, one Tier 3 shield, one Tier 3 staff and another flippin Tier 4 staff & bow (both of which were probably scripted cause they are Hakkon themed stuff).

 

**edit: Okay that boss is ridiculous. A potion chest on the battlefield doesn't help much when the boss has an AoE instacast that OHK's everyone, including my tank.

It is entirely based on people interpreting their accents to be mostly Welsh in DA2. A lot of people wanted a fifth Welsh voice to use for Dalish Inquisitors because after DA2 all Dalish are supposed to have Welsh or Irish accents? *drink* People are strange.

Exactly! They are Dalish. I mean, I get it because Orlais=France in terms of language at least, totally understand where that's going. So what do you get for Tevinter? I get Persia (Iran/Iraq), especially in the soundtrack.

You can't buy rare metals in bulk, instead we're forced to farm areas. As for the deathblows.......they worked in Origins, even Skyrim has them. There's no excuse for removing things like this, they focused far too much time on making environments look pretty and not enough time on filling them with useful and productive things to do that actually have and impact on the story. Once you've completed an area there's nothing to do but move onto the next, we also have no "new game +" option which is really annoying because you're forced to do the same tedious stuff all over again in order to get what you want. Enemies should have been scaled to player level instead of preset so we could have a new game + option, what's more amusing is that you're not required to seal rifts which makes them pointless because they have no impact on the story at all other than boosting your level and Morrigan mentioning them at the end.

This game does not deserve the review scores it got because if you strip away all the "it's so pretty" B.S it's very bland and full of fetch quests. They allowed the choice of race but didn't change the dialogue or NPC interaction, which means you get a small mention of your race and nothing more when you first meet some of the NPCs. This is because the original game was intended for you to play as a male mage, character creation and the dialogue in game supports this. This game is only an 18 because it shows a little nudity, that's if you can be bothered to romance the rather manly female available to you. The violence is gone, the fun is gone and overall the game is seriously lacking in content that makes you want to play for long periods of time.

Dragon Age was a fantasy game, now it's a Skyrim wannabe that fails at the basics. People praise the crafting which is fine, what most don't mention though is the farming required to make that weapon decent. Also the loot you get never seems to be for your character, i picked up plenty of Vitaar as a human mage and now that i'm playing as a Qunari i'm not finding any Vitaar but plenty of daggers.....the game has issues and most of the players playing it are oblivious to them or unwilling to admit they exist and that it annoys them.

I am and I'm not. If there is a couple good friends there that I enjoy talking to, I've been told I can be the life of a party. Barring that, social awkwardness and hugging the wall ensues. Guess it's part of me being 50/50 introvert/extrovert (yes, that is possible).
