*Reads the Witcher thread and drinks*
I'll be lining up to buy Witcher 3 (and jumping in at 3 because PS4). It's looking good.
Tell me all about it.
I am in a similar position. I have major problems with 1 and 2, did not get the chance to play them, doubt I ever will, feels wrong to jump on the bandwagon at the end...and not sure I should trust them.

It's looking really good!
I know, I'm getting excited thinking about it - and then I've got Mass Effect 4 to look forward to (and I'll be jumping in at 4 too because can't be bothered to dust off the PS3). It's making it a little bit harder to slog through my current playthrough on DAI for JoH (230 hrs on PS3 first play), I felt like I'd finished it I suppose.
Same. Got the ultra-deluxe collectors bling-bling edition on pre-order
Having an internal debate right now about invading the witcher boards. I'm detecting dangerous amounts of stupid there....maybe opening with this:
I'm just involved in so many internet fights right now it's beginning to be hard to keep track of them all
I keep out of the bun-fights. I have been known to type out (what I think are) scathing replies and then I just can't be arsed to post. It's like 5 mins of my life I'll never get back - it all adds up
Looks like I'm in for a treat with Witcher 4.

You do that too? I tend to right huge posts and then find some errors and I'm like, "nope, can't be bothered, delete"

Yup, and by the time I've finished I've usually calmed down. Besides enjoyment of games is arbitrary, it's hard to argue consistently against something like that. I don't like shoot 'em ups but I have friends who love them. Funnily enough though, in Red Dead Redemption I spent hours shooting stuff ![]()

I don't know, I never really got into it as I was probably playing Final Fantasy or something. From reading a lot on here, I wish I had now. Hopefully the remastering rumours will come to something as I honestly can't see me hooking the PS3 up again.

Exactly
But I had the best fun shooting the bulls in the corrals, especially when they fought back! *Drinks to fond memories of getting flattened by a crap tonne of snorting BBQ*

Well I would have preferred to send this privately, but you don't allow it with your profile settings, so it's public. Don't ever post anything like that again in my thread. Seriously. I'm not remotely amused. I'd rather report my own damned thread and have this locked that have that crap posted in here again and kiss my arse if you think I'm overreacting.

Oh jeez can we not do this? I just had a nightmare of a work night (there are tears of fury as I type) and trying to forget any of it happened.

you know this whole incident reminds me that I think forums should allow topic starters to be self moderating.

Thought of it on another internet bar i used to frequent. *shrugs* I just think that Federalism would work very well on an online forum. Topic starters should sef moderate and have all the power of mods within their threads and if they do not follow through and enforce the rules, or abuse those powers, then they will be dealt with.
