That's what a big portion of society cares about. F_ck real world problems. Women being raped in India? Don't care, don't want to. But I call myself a proud feminist. I defend gay people. I defend bisexuality and demisexuality. I fight for minorities. Oh, and I masturbate to a handsome British man with a sexy voice like any heterosexual woman because...he's British.

That's because people are ignorant. They don't care because it doesn't affect them, it's not happening around them. Asia, to them is a whole other world. Media says that it is a bad place, where horrible things happen. Ignorance has proven that it can manifest in the most decent of people. The world will never change unless these issues happen the world over. (No, I am not saying women should be raped. I'm saying that unless the rest of the world experiences these harsh realities, those realities are going to stay a world away.)
