Well sure I think you're nuts. 
I mean I might have put that much time into all 3 ME games combined but that was over a period of three years, not 5 months. But I do not have a sytem which can play the game right now so all the people who are playing it I am a bit envious of.
I haven't tried MP either. Ever. On any game. I tend to, uh... not like people? Forums are different. I can leave anytime. I just... feel pinned down in social situations, occasions where my presence is required.Motion sickness prevents me from Indiana Jonesing as much as I want. If I try too much climbing and spinning or any movement that leads to a lot of camera movement, I have to put the game down or vomit, which I hate. Also, I'm motivated by story more than loot or whatever else opens up when you explore (everyone has different preferences, I knowz), so I will tend to skimp on exploration to get to the next plot point.

My very first Inquisitor came the closest to resembling a completionist. My next playthroughs got shorter and shorter... and I had to go back to that first playthrough to find an Inquisitor levelled up enough for JoH.

Well-done exploration is part of the story for me. The Hissing Wastes has a great area plot that fundamentally impacts the basic lore of the DA universe; yet all of it is discovered, read, found & deduced. That's how I think exploration in DA games should be like and that's why it's my favourite area.
edit: Collecting shards etc is not something I enjoy, but more feel compulsed to do. I also wouldn't consider it part of exploration.

Yeah the Hissing Wastes is one of those wide open areas with very few camera movements required to travel. I agree with you, it's a story-driven area, and it gives me no motion sickness at all. I love exploring the Hissing Wastes. I can spend hours there, no problem.

Meh back on my old forum haunt I got one pretty quick. Just never got arsed here before because A. wanted my first avatar to be of one of my Inquisitor's and B...seems this place has some pretty weird sig rules because I see few people with actual artsy signatures. And to me having one without the other is like a Mage without a staff, or the Khalissi without her dragons.
