Yeah, you don't have a sexuality of your own, do you?

How would you even get off without smart fanbase 'spalinin you the basics, it's beyond me.

I don't wanna leave the cozy DQ, has Anita Sarkeesian been mentioned and/or insulted yet?

 Well, I'm told all females are naturally bisexuals.

And no, that hasn't been mentioned yet.

Playing with fire with that subject, but it looks like a decent conversation right now.

Don't get romances or don't get that people want an equal number of options for everything?

I suppose the latter. Obviously I must be bad at explaining it.

I just don't get how you can like it enough to be as outspoken, yet want all of the magic taken away from it by discussing it like a rugby match.

I like the romance mechanic, and I wouldn't care if I don't "get" as many "romance options" as "others". I wouldn't even care if there are no suitable matches whatsoever. Such is life, and forcing it feels weird. "Hey we need to come up with perfectly equal amounts of love to be had; also strategically adressing all core and side demographics."

If the writers come up with X amounts of interesting, awesome characters, and sexuality A fits or makes sense for their traits the most, then go for it. I don't feel cheated. Suppose what I am saying is, romance should happen and be natural -nature is not exactly known for a very slick form of balance-  and never dictate anything else on its own right; the opposite in fact.

P.S.: For example as for my Inquisitor in this very game. I don't feel any of the women suit his personality, so his only mate remains what made him the Herald in the first place.

P.P.S.: Edited a crapton of times to get the phrasing right. I suck.

No, you're fine at explaining. I misread your post in the other thread, well missed a few words that changed it entirely lol (it has been a stressful day for me) . I agree with your point here actually.

My inquisitor's personality doesn't fit anyone except Dorian really even though he's not a romance option for females. He's still a very well written character thanks to the platonic relationship Dorian and a F-Inquisitor can have.

So.. .yep, Cassie is indeed hot.  I'm tempted to make an account over at that obsidian place just to be able to post my jawline glory pic.

Also, it had never occured to me before reading this latest romance thread, but thank the Maker I don't have any sisters named Cassandra!  Or Ashley.  Or Lydia.

Cassandra looks A LOT like my sister. I tend to take it personally when someone badmouths Cass's looks because of it

(Funnily enough, Aveline from DA2 looks EXACTLY like a younger, ginger version of my mother :P )

It's hump day.  Not sure why that would make them more expressive, but there has to be some connection.   Also, you mentioning it is Wednesday reminds me to try to remember to think of some sort of post I can use to kick off Insertion Thursday this week!  I was unable to come up with anything last week, so hopefully I'll do better this time. ;)

Also, you being on the other side of the world, are you down under with Donk and Duelist?

Well great, not like that'll make my romance scenes with Cassie awkward or anything!

Okay, I'm gonna try to squeeze another hour of sleep out of the morning.  Toodles, DQ.

Same goes for mine and Sera.

Though I probably wouldn't have romanced her if she were straight, it's more of a tutor/big brother kind of thing. (My Inquisitor is also in his early fourties.) Still, maxing out her approval as a straight guy really feels like the two have a special relationship, especially if the Inquisitor can be both accepting of her childishness & scold her at the same time. I think that's kind of great dynamic they wrote there.
