Cabot, her next rounds of drinks are on my account! Serve the lady well!
Lol. Why thank you.

Take a break, bro. You've done good work. Time to sit down and crack open a beer.

I was totally thinking about watching this movie yesterday. I've got it on DVD. =)
::shrug::
I think most character appreciation threads tend to accrue followings that focus on admiring or even something akin to "worshipping" the character in question, whether it's entirely reasonable or not. As usual, I'd rather avoid serious discussions in this thread, which is generally way too fun for that.
But I know posters in that thread, and I know how sweet and thoughtful some of them are. I wanted to give Roly my perspective on it.
Nicely put. I don't frequent the fan threads because I'm just not that interested but I couldn't care less how people want to 'worship' the character of their choice (I've had my rp fun with Cully and Michel in this thread, all tic
) because it's not as if they can offend that character and, you know, they have their right to their fantasy as much as the next person. If someone is offended that's on them imho. Bullying of course is not acceptable. As for the Cullenites (no I'm not one), aren't they the reason Cullen is even in Inquisition?
@MA - I'm not sure how groups work on here but if you wanted a more serious character discussion thread on Cullen couldn't you create a group? I think you get mod privileges so you could keep it on track.
Anyway, on a completely different note I've just started reading the 'friendzone' thread that Harding flagged up. I had to stop at 'Off-putting Hambeast' as I couldn't stop laughing
*wipes away tears of mirth and drinks*
Was trying to post in a thread containing the usual Halo fanboy stupidity on the Halo boards when, wouldn't you know, the boards go down. With all my righteous rage still to be spent.

(thankfully i had saved the response beforehand because it's long, so as soon as boards go back up.....
)
*chugs rum* I need to drown my rage for the time being

Stupid sweaty tryhards invading the 'Lore&universe' section with their brainless opinions.....
*sneaks to Cabots wine casks*

Trust me folks, BW boards are pretty low on stupidity compared to ANY fps board >.<

Batten down the hatches! someone's in for it.

I always thought that was a requirement of FPS forums. Especially for CoD.
And the award for the strangest complaint of the day goes to...

I mean, I get that some were not pleased with all the options, but trying to put it as if a lack of visual customization is something were DAI is especially falling short, just seems like a lazy troll. Curiously, there's not a single person not fully agreeing with it in that thread, so maybe I'm missing something.

Skyhold outfit I think, not the armour, is the main argument about clothing in DAI. Not for me, I don't mind it but for a lot of people.
I actually like a lot of DAI's armour styles.
Now I feel like the odd one out for not being offended by the obvious menace.
Yeah the pyjamas look dorky, but then they could have just made another complaint thread about it without the big leadup. Maybe what gets me is just that people whip up fancy scientific analyses for basically any marginal detail those days.

Some people... *shakes head*
Is it possible for a person to bring themselves to a level where they care more about what happens in a game than what happens to them in real life?
Oh, that naturally stops as soon as real life makes it very clear it doesn't give a bloody f*ck about what happens to you in your video game life, the first time.
When I read articles like that who make a dramatic point out of criticising a feature that has clearly been thoroughly expanded upon, and even puts it as if the developers where actively unaware that it's noteworthily bad, it will not work. If I'm a dev, I'd read it and go "Oh for f*ck's sake we worked on this sh*t for 24 months alone and had three people divorce their spouses; thanks for acting like it's not even there."
You have more than one means to change purely cosmetic aspects about your appearance, so I wouldn't really know what to tell them. Add more redundant armor sets that 1 in 3985822627 people may ever use?
edit: Okay, so turns out it really is just another "Silly Pyjamas"-thread. Dunno if it makes it better though.
