Not maybe, my friend. Definitely.  :D

I do mean to make a thread about this I really do.  :P Suffice to say it depends on which Corypheus you are talking about, the one on screen, yep Ultron was much more compelling and had his crap together.  But if you are talking about Corypheus's off screen portrayal then...the Tevinter Magister is way more of a threat.  Way more compelling.  It is kind of a shame.

Okay, but whether or not she is the Monarch or not, she will be titled Queen when William is King, yes?  I understand Phillip is Prince, but that's because of the weirdness of gender rules at  the time when Elizabeth ascended the throne.  Her mother (Queen Elizabeth's) was called Queen wasn't she when George was King?

*Drinks something from some obscure pub in East Enders land*

EDIT:  Seems her title was Queen Consort...  I stand corrected.  HOW DARE YOU KNOW MORE ABOUT YOUR SYSTEM OF GOVERNMENT THAN ME!!! ;)

Here in the Netherlands we call the King and Queen ... well... King and Queen. Even though our Queen is originally not even Dutch but Argentinian.  Never heard of the concept of "King-consort" or"Queen-consort" before DA, so it might just be different per country.

To be fair though King & Queen is somewhat weird for me since our 2 previous ruling monarchs were called Queen and Prince. But maybe that has to do with the fact that both of these men were German. (Random fact of the day: This means that the Dutch King is 3/4th German and 1/4th Dutch and the Queen is 100% Argentinian. Their children are only 1/8th Dutch.)

EDIT: Queen-consort/King-consort/prince-consort/princess-consort is actually the correct term for those married to a ruling monarch here in the Netherlands as well, but nobody uses that term to address the monarchs.

Those Germans have their fingers in all the royal families!!  As for the other, one could  do worse than an Argentine Queen :D

Oooh, that was a good read.  Thanks for the link!  Always felt a bit sympathetic towards Samson.  Even more so after reading this.  Still...bastage has to die.  Sad end.

I'm OOL.

*nods in agreement*

All of the Romanov leaders took German consorts as their wife. But, funny fact about Russians: to be Russian you do not need to have slavonic or Russian blood (truth be told, I don't even understand how one can define themselves by blood.. But, wait, blood mages can /end of lame joke) or even be born in my country..  All you need is to love and feel Russia. So our monarcs were 100% Russian.

I love and feel Russia - even though I've never been - so am I Russian?

I come and go as I please  :P

That's unexpected.

Hm...  :D How did you realize that you love & feel Russia?

And you know how they say: even though it's nice to hear, still, love should be declared through actions, not words.

I know (met a couple of times) one Scottish man, who was working in my country for 8 years. Once his expensive contract was over, he refused to return to London and to his family. Of course, he visits them as often as he can, but still, can't return to "normal and comfortable life".

This reminded me of (watch with engsubs, folks ;) ).

Russia is beautiful, but can be a b*tch.
All I wrote is pure IMO, of course.

I officially hate time difference!

I hear ya. o/

When it's midnight in my country, it's already like 3 am in the Forum.

Many times I come here and the posts are all at around 5 am. I's so strange; I feel like I've entered the Twilight Zone.

Since the day my friend, well, actually a friend of my brother, came up to me in school and said "Are you Russian? You look Russian." and then I feigned a Russian accent (terribly) and from that day on, he believed I was Russian. Still does. ...It's been 5 years...
