*grabs a drink*  It is funny that I keep on wanting to be a nice guy in this game but then...I end up being militaristic anyways.  All the leaders have been complaining at me, and dencouncing me, and saying that I am settiling in lands they want.  ANd then one of them did that and had the nerve to put one of their cities in the middle of my trade network cutting one part of my empire off from the other.  They paid.

Not much to tell *shrugs*  I squatted outside their boarders after I wiped out the Greeks for like...a long time..while I got..some sort of invasion condition I wanted to have met...when it was met I hit them from like four sides at once, laid siege to their cities from land and sea...didn't have airpower yet... and then here we are.  Bye bye Songhai.  Also, it was funny I got Flight before the Railroad in this game.

lol in the Chiv games diplomacy isn't even a word in my dictionary. I take the lands I want and I completely destroy anyone who stands in my way.

I mean, I get it.

 

For example, I hated how in DAO the only "black" cut was either the cornrolls ponytail thing (which curiously no, does not look cool to someone neither giving surfing lessons or regularly starring in rap videos) or just all bald. It's sometimes annoying that a lot of people criticise the "overkill" of buzz cuts, since all but two are actually fro styles in different thickness and hairlines - and really, if you're not going funny college movie brother, those are the subtle hairstyle variation options you have as a normal person.

 

On the other hand, I understand that there really isn't much of a choice for long straight hair, so I wouldn't call women who find that disaproportionate to be out of line or anything. It just always seems strange from the outside, when such a huge thing as the Black Emporium is announced, and people bicker about that or even the unsatisfactory shading of the black on hair (which I think is actually the fault of the weird super-glossy-shader and not the color itself).

This is Civ V yes. Got it years ago for Steam, downloaded Steam, then either it or something else that coincided with me downloading it (Steam) ate my old computer.  A bit.  So then last week I am giving them another chance...wanted to pick up KOTOR...then realized I could redownload Civ too.

Yeah its alright seems a bit...boring in some ways...compared to earlier games.  But, it is the first time I have played Civ in years.

I've played a thief in Skyrim, non-lethally (did so since Morrowind actually). He's level 60-something and has killed a total of 8 humanoids. All of which were crucial main quest targets (including all DLC).

 

"I do not believe in no-win-scenarios." - But sure, you kids go ahead and screw diplomacy in freaking Civilization V.

I assume you mean Civ III, the only TRUE Civilization game, yes?   (j/k, btw... though if you think DAO vs DAI can get intense, visit the civ forums)

* gulp* I'll pass thanks.  Actually I think Civ III is my least favorite of them all.  Loved 2 and four though.  Five isn't bad.
