Just made an amazing discovery the other day. Well, amazing to me, because I don't really understand how the internet works, y'know.

 

People don't like to read fanfic other than smut, right? Well, guess what, folks. I wrote a short erotic poem derived from my Samson fanfic and somehow managed to get a few more readers.

Here's a few verses, in case you're curious:

 

Your voice is delight made sound

Your hands promise sweet caress

Your flesh is desire made carnal

Dare I define what is your sex?

 

Lesson learned. Here's the tip for anyone wanting to boost your number of readers: write short stories with sex or sexual innuendo. Angst also works fine. o/

Well, tbh, I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to good music. ç.ç I found out about Doves thanks to a good show in MTV, now extinct. 

But from the band, I can recommend many great tracks such as these:

The rhymes are kinda...unusual.

You'll notice the 2nd verse should rhyme with the 4th, but instead rhymes with the 5th; one verse has 2 rhyming words, 2 successive verses rhyme, etc.

Nothing wrong with that. Poetry is supposed to reveal emotions, both in the writer and the reader. There's no wrong way to do it. It's good though. I enjoyed reading it.
