I -wish- it was freezing here.  It was an unbearably hot 76 degrees today.  80 yesterday!  ( 24.4C and 26.6C respectively)   I'm already dying and we're not even into June, forget July and August with their 100+ ( 38C) days. :(   Maker, what I wouldn't give for winter again.

*drinks something frigid*

At least you folks up North have a decent Winter, with proper snow and all.

Here down South, it's like perpetual Summer. >_> It's only cold at night, and even so, you can't sleep with more than 1 blanket. Otherwise, you wake up all sweaty and tired. x__x

Nothing.  Like I said, it was more of an obligation thing.  Here, start reading here:

Opposite here in Canada. It's hot and my A/C is running.

We have a foot of snow in Alberta right now! I'm shivering!

My problem isn't with hair. It's with noses. I am awful with guy noses!

I feel ya, sista. When I get the black emporium downloaded Saturday my stache elf is getting a nose job. It's bulbousness is really noticeable in certain cut scenes.

I'm in Ontario, but I heard about you guys. We had quite a bit of snow in April too. Now it's all melted and only this week the trees are budding finally.

Man, I am going to keep restarting until he looks passably awesome. I am not starting the game with someone I cringe to look at until I get my war table, lol.

Dazzle is finicky.

In the five or so years I've been living here, I can't remember it ever being cold in Queensland.

The lowest temperature I can recall was about 20 - 25 degrees celsius.

Meanwhile, I'll just stay here and enjoy the few precious cool nights of Autumn before it becomes hot all over again. >_>"

Sounds like Brazil's temperature as well.  ;)

Here, it varies between 22~40º C.

You get a suntan merely by walking on the street.

Lol, that sounds about right.

Still it's nice having consistently warm weather, annual flood aside.

Every time there's a flood, it's like a national emergency. January is the worst month.

People build fragile houses, sometimes even on mountains slopes. And then, comes the flood and everything is dragged by the strong water currents:

People lose everything: their car, their house, their belongings. It's really crazy and the government just doesn't give a flying f_ck.

*sighs heavily and goes back to drinking and brooding*

You simply can't make Canadian jokes about the cold anymore where I live. We get that type of temperature all the time now before and after Summer.

Why would you build a fragile house on a mountain slope? That's like, asking nature for a hard time.

Indeed! But the poor in Brazil do it by the thousands. >_> The govt. should build houses for them and provide proper transportation so they may go to work, but it doesn't.

There is even a huge city within a city called Rocinha (there's no translation for it in English, sorry ç.ç).

It's hundreds of thousands of houses on a huge mountain slope. Approximately 300,000.

And there's a tunnel in that mountain connecting 2 important parts of the city. Whenever there's a flood, you can imagine the disaster that ensues...people just can't go to work.

And I won't even get started on the violence and the drug dealers that haunt Rocinha...it's like, everybody knows it exists, but pretend they don't.
