I've never created a male character before. Maybe I should...

It's fun, but dear god it's freaking difficult to get angles right!

I mostly play as a dude, I prefer to listen to a male voice while playing. Making a lady in CC scares me and I've made some scary ladies *cough*CullenWife*cough*. *drink*I've never created a male character before. Maybe I should...

Hey, I don't hit women. In fact, I don't hit anyone. I'm a pacifist.
Hey I never said I was hit! .. oh wait *pokes screen* yeah used the wrong word. sorry xD
Is... is that Maru in that box? Man, I haven't watched one of his vids for ages.
Of course its a Maru in a box. And now you have to go watch Maru videos. FOR ALL ETERNITY ![]()
And poodle, you can have this here box.... ![]()

He looks like someone I went to school with a decade ago. Freaked me out a little.Yeah, yeah that's right!
Imagine trying to take a sh*t in that tiny box.
Mighty difficult.

I gotta be honest, these bioware games are my first experience ever with doing a female character. Mass Effect, in fact. It's been an interesting experience. One specific example that I'll probably always remember. In ME2 when going to the merc recruiter for Garrus' recruitment mission and the merc made some crack about the pole dancers being upstairs or something... remember that? I actually got offended. That more than surprised me.
So I totally encourage to you do a male character.
I have made some.. fugly females.. there's a reason my keep was telling me (before they let us delete them) I had 95 Inquisitors . I create, get to cutscene, hate, restart rofl . My current lady isn't bad, I've finished a playthrough with worse.

At least he looks realistic then!

Oh man, I think it took me anywhere from 8-12 tries with each inquisitor. It is hard to make pretty qunaris!

ooh I adore my Qunari lady and she only took me one try.

I thought it was a sandbox. My bad.
Don't know why, though. *shrugs*

Try making the face without the horns, then when that's down, sort out the horns. They're quite a big thing so it's expected to be worked around, which is quite difficult.

Now I don't want that box. Thanks, Delilah! Now you have to find me another. ![]()

Good luck.

Okay, so he isn't conventionally attractive, but I like that about him, and he is masculine which I thought was an important trait for Iolan to have. I may still do some tweaks, of course.
*Snip*
I like the look of him, Dazzle. His face is more masculine than a lot of the male Elf pcs I see, and his green eyes are striking.
I have 6 female Inquisitor and 3 male. Here's Agravain, my Necromancer. I made him for Edit: Cassandra...Literally. He was designed with her romance in mind, to "contrast and compliment her," is how I usually put it. ![]()

It's not that it's hard, per se... it's that I'm finicky, especially with colours. There's always a tiny detail that kills me, so I have to go back and fix it.

Well, gonna call it a day. 3 am here. Gotta sleep. *yawns*
Bye, happy people! *waves merrily*
And the best is left for last:

Spoiler
I.. like Agravain! Yes, he's very striking. I do think he suits Josephine.
I also designed Iolan with Cassandra in mind, actually, haha.

yeah I sit in character creator for literally hours trying to be happy with an imperfect but ok character

I go to scene more often than I stay in the CC, because I want to see how various things end up looking in game. Jaws end up looking wildly different in game than in the CC.

yeah that is annoying, I blame the lighting in cc
