I love playing Elves almost as much as I like playing Qunari. She sounds great! 

 

Iolan is very stoic. The strong and silent type. He's got a strong sense of justice and charity. He and Cass are going to be a great power couple, and Sera and him are going to be besties!

...headcanon ..

 

 

Ohhhhh...**mind revving** I do LOVE to speak about my characters' headcanon.

 

I usually lay the grounds of my character's past based on the limitations of the setting, my choice of class, etc, and in some cases I love the challenge to move out of my comfort zone (i.e.: not create a doppelganger of myself). DAI have been extremely interesting in that regard since I (the player) is agnostic, however in order to make my inquisitor to fit in the setting I decided to make him a "converted Andrastian". From someone who did not give a damn about the Maker before the harrowing experience of the Breach event, then resorting to become a believer after not finding a rational explanation of his survival from that.

 

Another anchor from my character's concept is the fact that he is "calling the shots" around people that has been pretty much shaping the future of Thedas for a good chunk of the Dragon Age. He being a pampered noble kid from the Free Marches just walking into adulthood at the moment of the Conclave would end with the advisers and companions treating him with condescendence, so my character is "old" (by the average age of the typical DAI player), in his early to mid 40s and indeed has been involved in a good share of political turmoil shaping in secret the future of Ostwich and by extension, the Free Marches (in my headcanon, Leliana knows about that). The "secret" part would explain why he is a DW rogue, instead of a front line warrior..

 

And that's the skeleton, I will be adding some meat in my fanfic Tumblr.
