Well, yesterday I ate my way through two tubs of Ben and Jerry's icea cream and I finished my last can of Dr Pepper. What was that? 2... 3 days since I bought them...? I gotta stop drinking that stuff... But, other than that, I'm doing great this morning. Already had to slay my first crane fly. Things can only get better.

Well Dazzles quizzie looks all serious and inquisitive and mine looks just plain friendly with a slight smile on her face. Subtle things

Just that kind of thing always impresses me and is something to think about for a writer/ creator.  There is a LOT to think about as a writer/ character.  lol.  But I had one person psycho analyze my Fem Shep by looks alone and it was...pretty acurate...granted it might not count since she knew my Fem Shep quite a bit...but I was quite surprised given that...apparently...I created a Shepard that matched her character without even trying to.  It was not something I was thinking about back then.

Have to tip your hat to the animators who made it all possible. Not easy making subtle expressions.

 

I just like that screenshot because the lighting actually makes the subtle signs of age more apparent on her. It ain't usually easy to make a character in her early 40's that don't look like either a pensioner or a plastic surgery victim <.<

I think DAI animators and 3d modellers did an amazing job this time around, both in expressions and the aging you mentioned. Sure DA2 had some decent expressions but they seemed a trifle overdone. I love how they made it nicely possible to have an Inquisitor who looks 20 , and one who looks 50, and everything in between

Nothing wrong with browsing Deviantart .. even when working .. I'm currently trying to remake Kirrah (my mage Inq) for a nightmare mode full run, this will take a while, wish I could just import her face to a new game haha.

I always play these games on easy, hehe    Too much story to be frustrated by getting killed over and over again <.<

I don't play connected to PSN when my Internet is being stupid or when PSN is being stupid.

It seems I'm not the only one having this problem there are a couple of queries now in technical support.  You play on PS4 don't you IR.  I don't know if you've downloaded BE yet as you are on vacation but it might be worth holding off.  I downloaded the big MP file last night on free zone, so I'm about to see if that was somehow linked.  I'll check in a minute.

 

Oh a happier note, I'm having so much fun playing my elven archer it's almost criminal.  Playing on nightmare and had to revive Cassie closing the breach at the temple of sacred ashes but I'm handling it so far.  Trophies come to mama!

I usually play on hard or normal, both modes are easy enough for me to get through the story a tad too fast making the zone/companion quests fall behind. In my current playthrough with Kirrah (hard mode) I'm up to the Arbor Wilds so I've had to go out of my way to clean up Exalted Plains, Emerald Graves and Emprise de Lion. I sided with mages so cullen's hunt Samson quest has to be done asap or I'll miss out lol, doesn't help that I hadn't touched either of the 3 zones until after ITA and WE/WH. Surprisingly I suck at nightmare mode, probably because I play glass cannon builds (mainly mage or rogue).

Hey Ashaantha.  Can't believe all it took for me to get my DAI mojo back was to roll an elf  My first time on nightmare - should be interesting.  Those were some pretty nice Inquisitors back there in the DQ thread, I'll have to post Lindiss.  I made her look quite boyish (I think), I don't know why 

 

Edit:  This time I'm going to side with the Templars, my canon is usually human female mage.  My role-playing is going surprisingly well, Maker Lindiss hates the Chantry

Hmmm. I always figured it was just an automatic thing. I know that sometimes you disconnect when your internet decides to sh*t on you but that's the only time I've ever played disconnected from PSN.

Finishing the game in Nightmare is the only achievement I have left, completed all the others including the JoH ones. I've tried nightmare a few times and I always only get to either Into The Abyss or the Orlais ball quest then chicken out and swap back to hard mode lol. Not this time, I'm serious this time. Gotta get that final achievement.

In regards to sticking with the game long enough to complete it, I'm remaking my favourite Inquisitor - Kirrah , human mage lady, knight enchanter allying with mages and GW's. Only major change in game style I'm making is having Loghain alive for the very first time in a world state. Just took her to the BE to get screens of her sliders, time to try and copy them on a new character

Go for it, I'm determined to do this on Nightmare for my own completionist state of mind - ha, we'll see how far I get after the first Dragon fight.  Ok, I'm off to see if that Dlc has made a difference to my PS4 problems.  See you later *waves*.
