You could drink water instead.. though you may have to pee a lot.

Water is good.

Still a waste of a good coffee, you're safe. I think the same way about Skyrim though, anything with a big map and a lot of sidequests feels mmo'ish and I've played more then enough different ones. I enjoy DAI though, don't need to worry about people yelling stuff in a chatbox at me.

oh wait, I think this place counts for that..

How anyone can confuse a single player game with one adventurerer doing one thing at a time with one person, generally, with a MMO with a million people running around each doing roughly the same thing playing roughly the same adventure boggles the mind.  At least in EVE its set up well.

I got a proper mini glitch today! demon fell into a cliff on me, luckily miss dwarf could still hit it with her axe. I may sound excited, my game usually doesn't glitch out this often..

I just told you. the million people shouting stuff in a chat box is missing in single player.. oh and being the only person in the game's world helps :D . I am not being very serious here, so you know :P

edit: (the quests are similar)

I don't actually mind MMOs. I play Guild Wars 2, and it can be fun. It just lacks a decent storyline and what not.

All I'm saying is that after playing it, I can see that DAI, to a certain degree, is influenced by MMOs in a way. What does it matter, just so long as you enjoy it right?

As a joke I once said DAI was an MMO for the anti-social. So if you enjoy them, but can't stand dickheads online, it's perfect.

Awesome! Okay, we need something strong. Cabot must have something hidden away.

No need.

Oddly that is missing in Eve, or you can customize it.  Eve i really the only MMO worth anything.  Though I do kinda like TOR.

The worst, absolute worst, thing is since DAI was released I've only played it and some DA2 . It's really sad.

Yeah I know... maybe it should be renamed MSO/O (Massive singleplayer online/offline)

But what I mean is, the open worlds, the side quests to level up and the gathering of herbs and resources are very similar to what you do in an MMO.

I used to troll Runescape when I was 12.

Otherwise, I've only played GW2 and DC Universe online. I got sick of DC pretty quick and ended up deleting it off the PS4.. which is a shame, cause I do love my DC.

I have played that and KOTOR...and Civilization 5.  Hope to get back to DA I very soon though.

I approve.  But *shrugs* This is one area I really do have full faith BioWare will improve upon in the future and its one of the areas of the game I suspect suffered from them trying to develop so many console iterations at once.  So with them just concentrating on the PS4 generation I think a lot of these side quests will dissapear.  One of the reasons I am really curious about the Witcher.  Since (I think) its being developed just for next gen it might be the first game to take advantage of the full power of the PS4 generation.  And I think it will be a good indicator in what BioWare will be able to do in future games for Quest and story structure.

This was the first time Bioware attempted this sort of large scale game. Hopefully they can only do better, even just with new DLC's as the team learns more stuff about it.

I'm burnt out with DAI, but you know what would get me playing again?

A DLC along the lines of the Citadel (ME).

Exactly.  hakkon was the first in DA DLC history.  The first time they have expanded on and improved upon the mechanics in he base game and just experimented.  It sounds like and looks like it was mostly successful.  Like I have said I am stupidly optomistic about the future of this series.  Only one thing really worries me...

Yes, but I doubt we'll get something like that. With Mass Effect, you had all of the same companions spanning the three games. It was a nice send of for that trilogy. With Dragon Age, you don't have that. Maybe you see some old faces but the relationships are never the same because there is a different PC. It would be fun, but it wouldn't really have any meaning like Citadel did.

I have seen a lot of gameplay on it and stuff and the stuff with Ameridan.  It looks awesome. :)

I also love making Karate Kid puns to the name...Hakkon...Hakoff.

Really?

If you ever get bored of DAI... have a crack at it! It's amazing.

QTEs? Quick time events?

True.

But if they got one thing right with DAI, it was the characters.

I certainly enjoyed those little scenes.. like the game of Wicked Grace. The pranks with Sera, the chess match with Cullen, Cassandra getting all embarassed cause she reads smutty literature.

I just think a DLC revolving around Skyhold would be fun, especially if it involved a lot of funny moments with the characters.

Yes *shivers*

A small DLC.

I dunno Donko, I would rather want something like Lair of the Shadow Broker or Leviathan.

I mean, the entire game is basically Citadel. Too much Keep, not enough straight plot & adventure happening without interruption.

You have a thing for QTEs?

Dude... go play the Telltale Games' Game of Thrones! It's QTE galore.

Not necessarily a small one.. I'd like to see some sort of conflict in this DLC I'd like. I.e (insert bad guys here) try to take out and overthrow the Inquisition.

DLC for skyhold and the current companions/advisors would be awesome. I love Cassandra's companion quest about that book hahaha, I was in tears laughing the first time I encountered it. And Dorian tossing books around in the library after the Fade, he was bouncing between being angry and talking about books. It was funny to me.
