Happy mothers' day to meeee *sings badly and grabs some apple cider*

Good luck! :) , I never put on weight (except when I had my kid, weight hasn't changed in the 2 years after that though) and rarely able to lose it either.

it's almost winter for me. Going to get to under 5 C during the night soon and I have no heater.

In Ireland that's BBQ weather!!

Haha, well it is hard to say no to cake. :P

Raspbeery Ale sound good to you?

Yes please D :)

Welcome back Paragon! ^_^

Care for some whiskey in the jar while showing us your elf?

Oh yeah, but I warn you .... she has a jawline!  And thanks for flagging up the reincarnation of Vick, I do believe your bar tab is taken care of but have to check with IR.  Pics to follow.

Here we go.  I didn't want androgyny I wanted a tomboyish hunter who took care of her clan, providing meat and skins.  I wanted her to look determined and resourceful (since I had no background to speak of).  I loved the background story so much in Origins, but then I wonder if I have no imagination to speak of.  She's exactly what I wanted.  I so envy the PC CC.

Thanks guys, I think I've given you her best angle though (ie from the front) as she looks a bit thuggish in profile!  When she smiled at Cullen (and I won't be romancing him this time it's just you have to do it for the side-smirk) me and hubby shrieked in horror!  I wish I'd taken a screen shot but we were screaming.

Later fellow Drinkquisitors - *raises glass, chugs and heads out*

Bioware may have made some awesome progress in facial expressions but the PC's smiles (half and full) leave something to be desired.. and they look like demon-possessed things..

*cheers*

Augh, I always forget to download my music, because I can connect my car to youtube, and then when I need an iPod instead of my phone, I have to download like a hundred songs at once. Dumb Dazzle.

So, can I start this new health regime the day after tomorrow?

sure, but I'll start nagging you on sunday night.

Yay! You're the best, Dazzle! ^_^

Thing is, Poode, something like this you have to stick to.  If this starts on Monday you have to do it on Monday and every day after.  There's no end to it - it's a lifestyle change, not a fixit fad. If you're serious about it you have to be serious about sticking to it.  In the long run you'll be better for it.

But now, on with the fun!

I think, what I ultimately want, is to just add healthier options to my diet. And all around expand it - right now, the list is pitiful. I don't want to get rid of the nice stuff, like sugar, completely, but I know I have to cut back on that.

Then you probably shouldn't listen to my advice. I'm going almost completely sugar free in order to lose weight.

We have really different goals.

Didn't read it as being sarcastic. There were no helpful pointers in that post to show that it was being sarcastic. An emote, using quotation marks... something to hint at it being sarcastic would have been a lot clearer.

It helps when you know the person posting so you already know what the tone is going to be. But it is hard to pick out sarcasm sometimes if it's subtle.

As with many things, realising there is a problem and deciding to do something about it can be the hardest part.  Changing is also the hardest part.  And sticking to it?  That's the hardest part too.

The sticking to it is the worst. There were so many days I almost broke down.

But you know, now I don't feel like I actually made any sacrifices because I've gained so much in it's place. But jesus, those were some insanely hard weeks.

Oh. Well, I guess it can't hurt to try it anyway, right? My currenty sugar intake is probably the main reason why I feel I need to get healtheir, so cutting back on it is at least a step in the right direction.

True. I mean, kicking soda addiction wouldn't be bad for you. You can just add it back in slowly after that, and then make sure that you don't go back to a half dozen a day.

I always noticed that when having a current sugar-ridden diet it's easier in the long run to start a healthier diet slowly. I think focusing on cutting back on sugar first and adding a few better meals to your week will help a lot more in the long run if you decide to really focus on more healthy lifestyle. Instead of diving fully into a completely changed diet. This is coming from a major sugar addict though, I've cut back on sugar bit by bit over the past few weeks so my mood doesn't nose-dive.

I spent 2 hours in BE messing with my latest elf's face. Still not sure I'm satisfied. Drink every time I go back to the mirror and change it.

I would imagine changing everything all at once is very difficult.  Having to deal with not having lots of different stuff  all at the same time sounds like a recipe for failure.  You have to start somewhere, so start with that, see how it goes, stick to it, and see what else you can change down the line.  Al though it's probably pretty easy to add more fruit and veg at the same time, for example.

Bear in mind, though, that I know nuthin' 'bout nuthin'.
