d'aww the little hedgehog

I miss camping, I used to take my cat camping during holidays, he thought it was the best thing ever.

Your cat? Camping? I have not heard of this before. How did you make sure the cat wouldn't wonder off?

I didn't make sure he wouldn't wander off actually, he would explore around the camp area in the bush for a bit but then come back to the tent every hour, for meals and for the night he slept on my feet. He was awesome.

He was, I miss him, he always came home never ran off and I found him as a stray hiding under my house of the time. He died from a paralysis tick I didn't find in time around 8 years ago.

I'm almost surprised at how many of the DAKeep tiles I have unlocked while playing. I said almost because I do have a lot of hours played tucked in under my belt... :P

Haven't eaten breakfast yet. And I'm starting tomorrow. And it's just going to be me cutting back on soda, like completely. No more fizzy drinks for me.

@ Ash Yup, then I'll be somewhere else missing the fun .....

Try something that's fun but physically draining as well.

Taking up boxing again after a long ass time away from it practically forced me to eat healthier just to avoid gassing and taking an ass kicking.

Now I have a mental images of Scout Harding kick-boxing ........ not hating it :D

OMG you guys, this is hilarious. I love David Gaider so much:
David Gaider @davidgaider
The "Cassandra looks like a man" guy makes a hi-larious return. This time armed with facts -- FACTS, I TELL YOU -- to back up his claim.

He had a "male skull" and "female skull" picture, with Cassandra's face superimposed on top of both. CAN YOU NOT SEE? SHE IS A MAN! PROOF!

Cassandra's agenda-inspired mannishness, he says, keeps him from playing the game. At all. My reply? "Then don't?"

NOT GOOD ENOUGH. He requires a DLC to make Cassandra "appropriately" feminine. (I do not think that word means what you think it means.)

I'll give the guy one thing: he's persistent. I don't know why he thinks a more-feminine Cassandra would be interested in him, though.

I rather like the "agenda" angle though. Yes, your flaciddity shall be our triumph. Woe betide the straight man, for we cometh with JUSTICE.

 Drink to David Gaider!

Oh Maker, that's priceless.  I don't do twitter so thanks for flagging that IR.  It would be cool if Gaider popped in here for a jar.  We could feed him cheese!

*saunters in, brushing off twigs and leaves from his clothes and hair* Well, I'm happy to report that camping is still fun :D  Yes, I really was out camping and I've just finished doing maintenance on the gear. Had to test out a new tent and a woodburning camp stove before hiking season starts. My ears are pointy and I smell of halla arse, deal with it :D

In the bush? What about all the drop bears and snakes and funnelwebs n stuff (I still can't read Clive James Unreliable Memoirs without crying with laughter at the Dunny man and that ol' biddy swatting funnelweb spiders with her broom).

Edited 'cos properly ninja'd by RM :D

I'm a finn, not an aussie :P If I were in Australia though, I would prefer a hammock to a tent to keep away from the creepy crawlies :)

Hammock and/or tent isn't going to save you from the Drop Bears! or the snakes, ours know how to climb trees :D

Ahahahah!  Oh, I love that!  *Drinks*

My elf playthrough is going well, I love long shot - so much damage if you come out of stealth and are quite a way from the enemy.  I'm socking some bad guys for 800+ dp (level 7 on nightmare).

I'll take drop bears and snakes over moose every day....500-700kg of startled moose is seriously bad news. I am prepared enough to deal with predators like bears (and not in the 'play dead and hope not get chewed up too badly' , thankyou very much....), but how the feck do you prepare against something that can kill you just by being bit clumsy? O_o

How would you deal with a bear? Would you go for the kill?

Hmm true, all our dangerous animals are rather small. Our biggest is a Dingo and they are scavangers lol. But this also means you often don't see the Aussie scaries until its too late.

I wish I could slap people through my monitor for thinking everyone wants the exact same things in a game sometimes, we're all different and all able to have different opinions on what we like. Sure, someone doesn't agree with me that's fine, it doesn't change the fun I have in the game as it is right now.

*will settle for more apple cider instead of violence* :D

*Roly barely makes it to the door after an all night drive to get home*  Hey hey, I'm baaaaaaaaaaaack!  And  ready to sleep.  I brilliantly decided to do my return roadtrip overnight instead of waiting to leave this morning.  So... XXX OOO have missed y'all so much, but I must sleep.  Catch y'all in 6-8 hours or so.
