What about apple cider AND violence?

Don't tempt me Mr Sparkles the Poodle. Don't tempt me. *shakes fist*

*Roly barely makes it to the door after an all night drive to get home*  Hey hey, I'm baaaaaaaaaaaack!  And  ready to sleep.  I brilliantly decided to do my return roadtrip overnight instead of waiting to leave this morning.  So... XXX OOO have missed y'all so much, but I must sleep.  Catch y'all in 6-8 hours or so.

Roly! I love that song!

How would you deal with a bear? Would you go for the kill?

By making myself too much trouble to bother with and backing away. Bears are fast runners and strong but also quadrupeds which means they can either swipe at you or lunge but they can't maintain a continuous attack against a mobile target. If it can't bring a target down to the ground, a bear has few options left. This is a very risky strategy to use but the official tactic of 'play dead' goes against my rule of 'don't die like a b*tch'.

Damn, have to address this.  It totally depends on whether it is a Svalbard bear or just a regular ol' Norway bear.

(Sharing his vast Nordic knowledge gleaned from SATW)  Okay, now I'm really crashing.  I'll catch up with the rest of the thread later.

OH!!!  But also... omg how could I forget!  For all you mamas out there... special extra dose of XXX OOO because mommies rule!

Hmm true, all our dangerous animals are rather small. Our biggest is a Dingo and they are scavangers lol. But this also means you often don't see the Aussie scaries until its too late.

You can say that again.

Platypus are so cute and only the males have the venom I believe, but yeah: Aussie scaries are very sneaky.

Would you fight a bear? If you had a choice, run away, screaming, or fight the bear, what would you do?

A black bear can sprint at 35mp/h
The fastest human, Maurice Greene, achieved a top speed of just under 28mp/h at his prime.

Math makes the choice here ;)

So, you're saying when pumped with adrenalin you could never run faster then a bear? logic wins the day! I am so glad we have no tigers, bears, moose (meese? mooses?), lions, leopards, elk or anything bigger then a horse really in Australia. Well, we have emus and Cassowaries I guess.

Mental image right now is a little yappy dog with a sparkly collar yapping at a big black bear very optimistically. I am not disapointed with my mind right now, I wanna draw this..

Sorry. If you can't get rid of it, you can try make use of it. Go back over it, and fill in the area. Make it pop out of the rest of the image.

Mammals that lay eggs. Yeah, evolution must have been going through a really traumatic time to do that.

Heart thingy drawing above was going to be combined with this one at some point. Having the tree at the side instead of the sun , heart where it is which would require some tracing etc but it never happened.

I like it. The idea is pretty cool. I hate it when you have to trace though, because the lines never seem to be the same.

Yeah, it's touchy but I only have pencils and paper to work with so I make do :) . I can't afford fancy shmancy tablet like things for it to go straight to a computer.

I can't afford a decent one either, and like I said a while back, I prefer using pencil and paper. It's just annoying when you have something perfect, and then you make one tiny adjustment and it ruins it, and rubbing it out makes it worse. That's happened to me more than once.
