Blech, plants! Dazzle does not have a green thumb.
I can help choose cats though!
hehe plant-wise going for some of these (banksia):

And cat-wise I have anything from this site to choose from so long as they are at the shelter, not in foster care. Because if I see a nice one at the shelter on friday, I'll be getting it that day. http://www.rspcaqld....pe=2&Shelter=75

Interesting, they look like they should be in a mario game!
I really like Amelia or Princess Hazel.

Amelia is gorgeous but sadly she's at a foster home so would have to arrange to visit a stranger's house to see her in regards to adopting which is inconvenient for me. Princess Hazel is a cutie too though, and thankfully at the shelter.

I have exciting news people! My friend Ben got me lifting weights last night and I did really well! I mean, I'm pathetic, but I focused on good form and I didn't complain once. Let's see what did we do... overhead presses, bench press, and then on the bowflex... I can't remember what it was called but it was like rowing and also pull downs. Ben said he was really proud of me, and I was really surprised to enjoy it!
I'm sore today though, but not as sore as I thought I would be.
Feeling sore is good. Means you pushed yourself past that point where you want to stop. Or... something. It's good though. And congratulations. ![]()

hehe there's 4 pages of cats 5 months-12 years of age, and a few of them are foster homed at the moment, not many though. The foster home for animals up for adoption from the RSPCA is a great system.. except when you're a social disability person like me who cannot go to a strangers house at all! lol.

Ashaantha, I think you should get a Venus Fly Trap. And feed it!
As regards the cats, you're on the right road, so just pick what who you want to be your new master ![]()

If by alien looking you mean native australian plants, yes they are awesome. and honestly most of Aust's native plants are a little alien looking haha.
this kitty, Maddox, would be nice if he's still available on friday - http://www.rspcaqld....AnimalId=385137

Well my train of thought was basically, "Okay, she's in Australia. What better to protect her from killer thingies than another killer thingy?" Course, you -are- getting a kitty too, so I guess that's covered!

Well that is a good train of thought , If I can get the money together I want to renew my wildlife license at some point so I can own a snake again. That's a nice Aussie style killer-thingy too. But for now, just a kitty.

Some previous posts I've read today (and would have liked if the BSN weren't screwing me over on likes...) have inspired me to implement a new feature of the DrinkQuisition. So everybody, let's grab some dextro-dna compatible drinks and celebrate...

Remember, she's the machinist who's got a cute toosh!

Hrm. Not to my knowledge, no. Wednesday should really be reserved for The Will of the Herald. If any of our regulars deserve a day all to themselves, it's her. But no, I am not aware of any other current dedicated days.

Heh, they may very well. After 800 pages, I am losing some of the DQ institutional memory. That kinda makes me sad ![]()
