I... well I never really thought about it as something to "deal with" to be honest.  Is it not the default?  They just appear in the same place you're notified when someone likes a post.  Well now I'm curious *rolls off to puruse settings*

 

EDIT:  found it!  I must have set that when I first went through my settings when I created the account.

I don't think it's a default setting, I have never ever gotten notifications from quotes.

I do. I bounce between so many fast moving threads that it's easy to miss when someone is talking to you. 

 

I just turn off the email ping and scroll through my notifications list.

Well, most of the threads in Bioware Forums where I don't jest and get all serious end being locked and/or deleted, so if someone made a rude reply to one of my posts I don't even have the chance to know about it 

 

I have a very bad short term memory. If I posted something a few hours ago chances are I've completely forgotten about it. Also in any thread except this one I put everything I want to say in one post, and that's enough for me , I don't like repeating myself even though I do that a lot.

Maybe it is because Lightning Poodle is a front line SJW and I'm more of the sneaky type, so when the banhammer swings he gets caught first

 

I have been banned on a handful of opportunities from forums because I feel really strong against a specific topic (Internet Bullying) and overreact
