I fell in love with ESO leveling, graphics, story, NPCs, crafting, you name it, but....when it was the time to face endgame everything went to hell because, well, I wanted to play a dual wielding daggers NightBLADE, but then the optimal way to play this class and the get the most DPS out of it was using ROBES and a STAFF so you could maximize the amount of MAGIC in your character  !!!

 

Perhaps they fixed it (they lost A LOT of people because of similar class balance issues) and/or improved it, I have been considering given it another go if I find a nice and like minded group of people willing to join me in this journey **whistles innocently pointing toward the DQ members**

 

If the player-base active is not as douchey or overly-aggressive at how other players play their characters I might go back to it. That was another turn-off for me at the time.

Don't worry about it. Everyone ends up going through stuff that affects how they act online. We all know that you are a kind, decent person so don't worry about coming off as snappy.

Weapon appearances are a hobby if mine in DA games haha , it's almost the only thing I can remember, what stuff looks like. A very, very sad hobby.

Well, mine is to look for prototypes of DA weapon. Impossible with staves, though.

 

Trying to decide whether to buy Witcher 3 on GOG or not.  Checking Steam, it seems I bought 1 and 2 both on 7/15/2012 and have a grand total of 21 minutes in 1, zero time in 2.  Decisions, decisions...

 

*orders a morning brandy because decisions like this shouldn't be made sober*

 

 

Yeah, actually, that is why.  I remember thinking "OMG, these are the worst PC controls (*) I have ever experienced."  I put up with it for, apparently, 21 minutes then just shut the game down.

 

(*) - By that I mean mouse and keyboard (suck it, pc people who use console controllers )  I did actually buy an XBOX controller for windows.  That was a total waste as it sits even now on my desk, never used.  The problem with it is simply that I don't have 30 years of muscle memory on it like I do a keyboard and mouse.  I have no idea what all the buttons are and I don't have the patience to get used to it, which I shouldn't have to on a PC because...tada... keyboard and mouse.

 

Oh, holy crap, I think I have to down like an entire bottle now for doing that rant... IN THE DQ thread.

The Witcher is an interesting series. The worst thing about it I can recall is swamp chapter in each game. Controls were fine, though.

I'd recommend to purchase it on GOG.

Seriously, if you read it, there was more productive, civil and surprisingly on-topic debate going on in Donko's thread than in any of the popular variants of the examples given above.

Oh, no, clothes are fab early game.  I was just being random.  I tend to trick everyone out after Wicked in formal stuff.  I think we look kinda spiffy, and it's fun to see Iron Bull with clothes on.  Just wondered if anyone else shared my nerd.

I love the stats on "of the Dragon" stuffage, but much prefer the outfit you are wearing.  What's Dorian got on?

Ah, I've only played Templars, because I'm a lazy cheat that just starts my toon over at Haven right before intro Cory battle.

Finally started Insanity play through.  It's fun, but then I had to start Qunari mage at the sometime, and I NEEDED a rogue play through.  They are never my first choice, but always soooooo much fun.

Actually, I think Inquisition is the first rpg I started out as something other than a tank in...you know someone from my WOW account a million years ago found me last year and asked me to come tank for them.  I haven't played wow in years!  That is one dedicated guildy.  

So glad DA is mostly single player.

I seem to always play mages in DAI my twins Kirrah and Kyrrah (the red head from pic earlier is Kyrrah) are pretty much exactly the same except for their hair colour haha, I do have a warrior character and a rogue archery-assassin (messy but fun build that one!).

I rolled my eyes so hard when I saw that thread was closed. Sex is okay, blood and guts is okay, asking to have babies with your LI is okay, but WE DRAW THE LINE AT PERIODS.

Okay, this is completely a first world white girl problem, but I'm seeking help and you guys are pretty friendly and are usually quick with a link.

I preorder DA:I in either Feb or April 2014.  Somewhere along the way I ended up in the hospital right before it's release for 5 months (I'm feeling much better now, ty), but I was still pretty sick at home.  Now I'm somewhat functional!!!

Well I bought the tricked out nerd version with the box, tarot cards, figures, maps, etc.  I've just gotten well enough to function, sort of.

Everything came in busted except for the game, cards and map.  I've tried going through EA and such...I always get someone from India (because they always give me links from India) who is trying really hard to be helpful, but has no idea what I'm talking about.  I really would like to get all the busted up stuff replaced, but no longer have an idea of how to do it.

EA wants a receipt, but I've lost the record of the transaction...was pretty sick in 2014, but I couldn't have bought the package from anyone but them, they are the only ones who offered it.

You guys have help for a poor lost pathetic cute looking puppy, who is lost in the quagmire of customer service without a receipt?

Yes, the only blood coming out of people should come from enabling gore...the other is sooooo gross.  Why do women do that?  You know we do it just to get attention.  At least that's why I have my monthly visitor.
