He's right Foley. The Last of Us is, IMO, the best PS3 game ever.
Interesting.
Trust me, Al. You need to play The Last of Us.
*shrugs* Truthfully all I want the bundle I am getting for is the free year of Plus. And its pretty cheap.

The single best game of the so called "last gen" was Fallout New Vegas, IMO... which is why I can't wait for Mad Max and of course Fallout goddamn 4.
Then again I never had a Playstation so I may be dead wrong.
It kind of does...though now I am wondering if Killzone has QTEs in it. hmm.
I can recall only two. It's a fun game, but hard as heck.
Personally my favorite game from last Console generation was ME 2.

Both games are very different. The Last of Us is linear in it's level designs, and the focus is more on the story and characters, whereas Fallout has always been about the player and what the player wants to do.

Which game? Killzone or The Last of Us?

That's the problem I have with, to a lesser extend Last of Us, but mostly with the "David Cage approach": Movies are not superior to video games. If you have a great plot but your gameplay department has nothing to say, please make a great movie or series.
For that reason, I still think Team Bondi's L.A. Noire is underrated when it comes to combining a cinematic experience with very game-y gameplay.

The game play is also excellent. I'm just saying, the main focus is on the relationship between the two main characters and how that progresses throughout the game, and not on how many bad guys you can kill.
Guys I just graguated to watching zombie tv shows, not sure if I am ready for zombie games yet.

It's not a zombie game.
It's not a zombie game.
Is that like the Walking Dead is not a zombie show or have I been terribly misinformed? There are zombies in the Last of Us yes?

They are not zombies. They are still alive.

Oh no! I traded The Last of Us in because I packed away my PS3 (it was a gift)!

*looks it up on Wikipedia* Interesting...
They are infected, so they are technically still alive.
So yes, Zombies. Basically the "rotten" part is replaced with "deseased"

They're mushroom zombies.

Oh, looks like it's been remastered for PS4. I'll be picking that up then.

Yes because we all know we can trust everything developers say. ![]()

"This is totally not a zombie game."

Zombie refers to a reanimated corpse. They were never deceased in The Last of Us. When a person dies, infected or not, they die. They don't get back up.

I know! I ummed and ahd for a while but I knew I wouldn't hook up the PS3 again and by that time I was deep in DAI. Still, now I've something else to look forward to Yay! 4 days and counting!

It's gonna be so good!
That contradiction will probably make my head explode like that stone golemn under Loc Muine. ![]()
