Yeah, that sounds about right. Episode three. It just shot me right in the feels. I have tears streaming down my face right now. (I just finished the episode so it's not like I have been crying for two days straight or anything.)

It's that good? Or did bad things happen?

Is that Blackwall's comment? Cause you can respond like he is asking if you sleep with corpses. It's kind of funny.

I like the live forever version better from Blackwall, but yeah that's a good line too hehe

An interesting observation I made... while I love the general "air" of DA2 better than Inquisition, I realized that all the criticism versus the Inquisitor is unjustified in my case.

Now having a proper comparison, turns out he's the one I felt the most immersed in from all the three. Not just because he resembles me visually, but also because it is now empirically irrefutable that the "semi blank slate self-insertion" approach works for me, better than I realized while actually playing.

Hawke is awesome for being Hawke, I'm connected and feeling for the Warden in the same way as I am to my pawn in a board game, but the Inquisitor as far as I'm concerned, is me.

My Inquisitor is my favourite player character out of all 3. I've thought that from the start though, I can relate to the Inquisitor better then over-dramatic-personality Hawke and the Warden.

haha, sometimes it takes playing a mage a couple of times to notice some specific options haha. I love playing a mage for the gameplay, dialogue, companion/npc interactions and the story.

Like I said when we all shared our character headcanon, my Inquisitor was hired by universities & Circles to retrieve magical artifacts and the likes, so I enjoyed giving him all the "knowledge" perks; cause he knows what he's talking about.

Speaking of, I kinda miss the times where you'd actually have to sacrifice combat prowess to skill roleplaying abilities. I'm glad they brought that back a little with the Inquisition bonuses, but the whole "being icing on the cake and super optional"-vibe still didn't fully satisfy me in that regard.

I love the knowledgeable perks. I like my mage being not only one of the most skilled in Ostwick circle for her age magic-wise but actually intelligent in other matters as well, even though I grab arcane first then underworld. After that I can roleplay her learning nobility and history from Josephine and books.

For me, it's History (his primary field of expertise) -> Underworld (gotta know them rival graverobbers, or fences & black market when times are dire) -> Arcane (cause it's mostly like "a manual with safety instructions to", not "in-depth knowledge of", and also more the historical aspects and the implications, not their inner workings.).

My Inquisitor doesn't know the first thing about nobility, and deliberately chose not to change that. Him failing to impress them in any way is part of his character somehow. You can't be good at everything - especially if you resent certain institutions & regulations with the irrational stubbornness of a 5-year old.

Yeah, I feel Josephine has to give my Quizzy a LOT of pointers about nobility, you know Circle mage and all, taught by the Chantry she's pretty much worthless, just tolerated to live and stripped of her title until the circles fall. Probably the same reasons apply to her not believing in the Maker. History is more a hobby thing I guess, I rarely use the dialogue options from it and sometimes don't even perk it. I play my Inquisitor as a youngster, she's the baby of the Inquisition, a few toddler style temper tantrums would fit her well haha.
