Hehe, tall and blonde, eh Bunny?

 

Ugh, I'm playing Origins and watching Morrigan blow crap up left and right with walking bomb and I'm thinking, "Dammit, I wanna do that again!"  I'm setting myself up for an extended run in Origins and that was not on my things to do list.  Cripes, I still need to fire up Witcher 3 again.  Oh, and Dis is getting impatient to continue her nightmare run.  OH! and I haven't even bought Civ 6 yet!  That's practically criminal as I've bought every single Civ game on the day of  release since the series began.  In fact, Civ III and Civ IV were the impetus behind buying new computers so they could BE run.

Well I knew he'd break up with me when I make him king (I'm not being a king's mistress since they'll end up with a wife, well generally) so I beat him to it. Ended it just prior to the landsmeet, knowing he'd be king of Ferelden.

Bruce Cousland (Rogue) - Alistair (Yes, Bruce is what I named my lady warden)
[Forgotten name] Hawke(mage or rogue, I don't remember) - Unromanced (Didn't like any of them)

Mahanon Lavellan (Rogue and default name because I forgot to change it to Bruce) - Unromanced because no one was good enough for him.

Just wanted to pop in and say your Quizzy is really pretty. Love her eyes.

Thanks. It took me a while and I think I picked head 3...the one with the blonde hair and no eyebrows? I didn't change much, I was afraid her face would be weird if I messed with it too much. Elves are really hard to get right.

First character of every BioWare game is named Bruce no matter the gender. It's really only DA2 I don't give a damn about. Don't care for Hawke, they were just some person who happened to be there. Don't like any of the companions except Varric.

 

I see DA2 as some comedy/tv flick , I mean honestly I'm sure Varric made 90% of that story up. Since you're playing a story he is telling, it's believable percent yes? I only liked a couple of the companions but none stuck with me like Origins and Inquisition ones do.

Thanks. I think that Vallaslin is the best one, especially with that hair style because it shows off the forehead markings. And I almost always give my character a scar of some sort. I like eyebrow scars, I think they are sexy. I also like the one that goes across their lips.

Then the companions I hated: Anders, Fenris
Then the companions I just don't care about: everyone else

Honestly I only finished DA2 because of Varric. *drink because there needs to be more drinking*

June Vallaslin is my favorite. I always give my characters eyebrow scars to mirror my own.

I always give my characters scars because it doesn't make sense for their faces to be a clear of scars. They are fighting all the time. I find it hard to believe that they wouldn't have been clipped in the face. Also, I think it adds more to their story. I can make up how they got it and it becomes part of my headcanon for them.

I messed with my Inquisitor's face a lot trying to get one (preset) where her left ear didn't clip through her hair on that side and then actually make her face look somewhat decent. It was frustrating.

 

These are the only pics I have of that side of her face at the moment, but on most face types that ear clips through the hair and changing just the ear size/position cause a funky looking huge-eared Quizzy haha.

That hair style is the hardest to get right with the ears,especially if your character is an elf. That is why I prefer the shorter one that shows all of the ears. Also, I have shorter blonde hair, and I like to add a little of myself into my characters. Sometimes I give them green eyes like my own or lips like mine. It helps me care about them, seeing a bit of myself in them.

I think it may have to do with the different face shapes and ear styles that go with them. I prefer my elves to have longer slim ears and that often makes it harder to get the hair right.

There is nothing of me in my characters. except maybe my Inquisitor's hair colour. Though mine is lighter blonde with hints of copper. That's mostly because I don't want to be myself, but pretend to be someone else for a little bit. I have the old "I hate myself" thing so it helps me if the characters are more what I'd like to be then what I am. hence why all of mine look similar in most games.

 

I didn't have ear clipping problems when I made my only elf, though I can blame hairstyle chosen for that! I only have one pic of her. I should try and grab a better one but.. effort.

Oooo! Little trick I've just discovered in TW3. If you are at the edge of the map and are need of a fast travel, the closest one being a trek away, just run into the boundary of the map; it acts as a fast travel.
