Well, I feel cruel to Cullen, dragged him all the way out to the battlements just to tell him "I really care about you.. but lets be friends" so I could get a video of it and some more screenshots. I almost feel sorry for a video game character lol, but it was the only scene I was missing regarding Cullen.

I found the friend one is far worse than breaking up with him. That look he gives you!

 

Wrong scene I think, but yeah that one in his office where the music stops when you say "lets be friends". It's like.. "did you just.... ... " and the look he gives, just so much emotion! The one I just recorded was the one on the battlements, when you first ask to "talk about us". I'll post it or a link to it in a min.

I still have 4 companions left to get all the romance scenes of then my companion/advisor cutscene video collection will be complete. mwahaha.

I didn't think that particular Cullen one was sad, just that my Inquisitor was a bit of a b**ch. lol

*ahem* anyway. Cullen is my canon Inquisitor's paramour though that decision was based on the previous games. Poor guy's been through hell twice, and I feel like I'm setting him up for a third time through it. I bet the Inquisitor's life will end short, and badly. Mostly because I compare any inquisitor to Andastre, bad things happen to both and both have/had the entirety of Thedas in their hands in a sense. If an angry mob marches up with pitchforks and torches coming after my mage I wouldn't be surprised

I think once you kill Cory that's it for Cullen stuff. Unless they do a full expansion to DAI anyway, since I doubt he would appear in any DLC's due to how they added Jaws of Hakkon into the game, not even a cutscene with advisers or any companions to start or end the quest to go to the zone justa  war table mission, so things don't look good. As for future games, not often do major characters show up again, well except Alistair really since he always pops up again, but "magic" in his case, he's like the Bioware Canon Fixture. I'd love having Josephine and/or Dorian in the next game, especially if it's based in the north. They don't often bring LI's back either, Leliana is the exception there.

 

And oh yes, Inquisitor and Andastre are constantly compared..

Man, I am really torn on these Dragon Age novels.  I am loving them for the expanded lore I am wringing out of them, but at the same time they are going to make me really struggle with some of my playthroughs.  I've already commented how I'll never kill Loghain again after reading The Stolen Throne because of the new insight on him (though I retract that now as that should have no bearing on how my individual Wardens feel about him.)  Now, only three or four pages into The Masked Empire and I already detest Celene.  I need to be careful or I'll just let all of my Inkys let her die because of how I, not my Inkys, feel about her.

Nope, nope, nope. F*ck am I ever playing this game on Hard. It's just not f*cking possible. Maybe next time, when I'm not trying to complete every single thing in the game.

Disappointing Sparkles. the only time I've ever gone Nope, Nope, NOPE was where spiders swarm you in a cave in Forbidden oasis. Not when stuff gets hard! , though I admit you probably should have finished the game once so you knew exactly what to do for everything before hitting the Hard button.
