*drinks* *sigh* Well its my birthday, I am 25 years old, actually a pretty good day so far work was pretty good for once....but got a message from my Dad's girlfriend saying that he want to do something with me. :/  Only trouble is...well I don't exactly get along with him much these days.  Haven't in a while.  And now this just reminds me of all that so I am depressed and just wondering what to do. *drinks*  I know this place is usually for fun and stuff and I really hate getting too personal with everyone, but...not exactly sure what I should do and need some group to unload on if nothing else.

Scratch that, earliest showing is later in the day. I'm gonna be far to stuck in to go and see it. Shame.

I'm really intrigued by the Witcher series right now... but in a slightly weird turn of events one of the things that might hold me back is the lack of a female protag.  I really want more female protag games because.... they're awesome.

 

In other news, I have been playing Drinkquisition for real.  Hakkon plus half a bottle of alk.  Wicked.

Moving on to your dad dilemma, I'll just say this.  As someone with a few more years than you, and with a dad in frail health, I really wish I had spent more time doing things with him when I could.  That may not be right for your situation, but I'm just saying once the time is gone, it's gone.  Something to chew on perhaps...

 

Now moving back to more happy thoughts, someone else would like to wish you a happy  birthday!

Yeah.  I get it.  And I agree one of the reasons I am torn because I do hate our relationsip of the last year.  Mind you we have not always had the best relationship, but it was workable for years.  But just lately...*sigh*

I've yet to read the books myself, but from what I gather, she can't exactly lose them, only stop using them. So, she's still pretty powerful. I think I'm gonna pick them up though. I'm loving the Witcher and I want to get everything out of it that I can.
