The thread began with this purpose, and we continue to drink for those aforementioned reasons.

Then, as Beren pointed out earlier today, we became a community.

We also come here to hang out and talk about stuff that happens to us, good and bad... in this regard, the DQ has turned out to be kind of like Facebook, but a little bit more focused, with fewer selfies, and better spelling when we're sober.

And we post pictures of our children Shepard/HoF/Hawke/Inquisitor on Facebook in this thread.

Well said. We also tell stories about said children Bioware PCs.

I'll use caution. remembering Piratequistion I don't even know how to use a bow. I can make stuff crispy or charred with a bolt of lightning though! If I start on fireballs however, then we're all in trouble, can't aim those. Witnesses to my fireball failures are many tree in the hinterlands, and a poor peasant bystander...

my staff only adds 3 guard each time someone hits me. Wait no, my armour does that.. what does my staff do? oh it has a chance cast pull of the abyss on hit, and electrocutes fools who try to steal it.

Hey, Roy, I am seeing what you see in this Felassan character.  Just read his "something, something, profit" explanation of Dalish future plans and let out a little bark of laughter, startling my sleeping doggie.

The first time it happened in a fight when my staff had the ability I couldn't figure out what the blazing heck was going on, only that everything was suddenly dead and greenish, I use aoe style spells a lot so a group dying at around the same time didn't tip me off. Then I remembered my staff did that pull of the abyss thing and laughed, a lot.

Static cage is one of my go-to abilities when there's 3+ monsters trying to kill me lol. My companions always save my butt in fights, either that or they just let me die and shake their heads at my risk-taking danger-seeking habits.

Solas and Dorian are the two that are constantly saving my ass. Solas is the well timed barrier or stonefist to the face or Revival at a crucial moment. Dorian with paralyze, walking bomb, whatever that one he uses to panic enemies, and static cage.

Dorian gets dragged along with me everywhere. Fire tree stuff, necromancer and barrier guy. Then I have any ol' rogue or warrior around as well. I do like an all mage group however

Nothing about the Masked Empire was in any way good...Nothing. Not the characters, not the plot and least of all the character assassination of the Dalish and the caricatures of elven characters it had.
