Finished my Winter Palace run over the weekend in Hard level and earned the "Belle of the Ball" achievement, ready to brag about it to whoever says that my bearded Inquisitor is not the epitome of handsomeness...

edit: I didn't fight Florianne though, that's a difficult encounter.

Honestly three crazy things.  

 

One it was oddly enough not as impactful as I thought it was going to be.  Crazily enough.  Mayyybbbee it was the slight time crunch I was under or something but it ws kind of like *shrug* A lot of build up but it was still over very very quickly.  I mean sure I did yell JUST LET HIM DIE at one point and am happy about it but I am not as happy as I thought I would be.  Honestly at this point I think I am more kene on Ramsay Snow meeting his maker.

Its also a bit of a frightening aspect for me considering nations, as...weird...as the Seven Kingdoms are especially...tend not to take it too keenly when their ruling monarch gets decapitaated. Hell when Robert Baratheon died it started a five way Civil War. Sure Joffrey dying will be better in the long run but it should only destablise an already volitile political situation.

I don't think it was Tyrion, even though I read somewhere that it was I remain skeptical. 1. He is not that stupid, as he himself said about Joffrey's plot to kill him way back in Blackwater. And 2. He had no real opprotunity that I noticed.

My money is either on Oberyn Matryel or one of the Tyrell's. Is it not convinient that Margery is not the de facto ruler of the seven kingdoms? Even if she marries Tommen (which I know happens) It is probably Highgarden's hope that he will be more maleable then Joffrey was, after all she could contro Joff, but it was tenous at best.
So now she i kind of Queen, though there is always Tywin...so maybe it was him? lol. But he did seem genuine outraged at TYrion during the whole mess, which I found odd in its own right because the man should be smart enough to come to the same conclusion I did.

As for Oberyn, his motives are obvious.

Speaking of Ramsay Snow:

Theon continues to be one of the most interesting and heartbreaking arcs of the entire show.  This showed a lot of his character, when Ramasy was talking about Robb's death, he almost snapped out of it...he didn't...which was dissapointing...but the conflict just shows how conflicted he was since the beginning.  He is a man with literally two bones, Robb Stark, and his Father.
