The new patches are a joke. Are they serious?

Reading the forums is more entertaining than doing the pointless side contentof the game, in fact i feel more conected to my account in the forum than with my character when i played DA:I :DDDDDD

Funny, i played DA:2 2 twice in a row, once with a warrior and once with a mage, with DA:I i just finished it, didnt do all the pointless side content and i was like "PLEAAAASEEE STOOOOP!!!!".

EDIT: i dont know why i first put that i finished DA:I twice LOL!!!!, no thank you, one run through that torture was enough ;D

I wouldn't complain at all if the issues I have brought up were not serious. I have been playing multiplayer and we beat all the enemies and we cant advance or get kicked via a black screen. That's a major issue. I have quests that wont complete or I have characters and background who look awful. I have a combat system that is very poor in some areas of lock on and targeting. Also there are related issues that affect pc, xbox 360, and xbox one all differently. It just seems so hastily put together and lacking major support. Isn't that what these threads are about? To voice my opinions and problems. These are real issues brought by paying customers, so yes I'm listing my items on a thread in the hopes of getting good patches and support. I'd love to see a good upgraded DLC pack with major patches and new items and characters.

Sort of. You have to search for it and then you get the yellow dot.

Bioware should just stop releasing patches and focus on DLC.

What? Be careful with what you say

I know some think this is funny, but when you have to pay 65 bucks for a game that has all these problems that should have been tested and fixed to start with, it really does suck. At this point they don't have to ban me from gaming, I'm ready to quit anyway. It used to be a way to get over a bad day and relax, but with all these problems and issues its very stressful and depressing to play it. So as you say, we wait for good patches and updates. "One day soon, huh?"

Well considering that "feedback" that BW gets from fans usually is just "I'm straight male gamer romances for us $ucks" or "Who do you think is better Witcher or DA:I","Skyrim vs DA:I","Why DAI can't be more like Witcher?","Use REDengine instead of Frostbite look after Witcher","Females are fugly","Witcher has more tasteful romances","So Witcher is game we should look most forward to from now on?"...almost forgot "Be more like DAO"...

And many threads as these are also to blame why persons with real feedback and problems don't get a chance to say a word. Not defending anyone in here I just think that something should be done about this whole forum thing, there should be one thread about just one topic not "repeat threads" of one topic all across this forum.

Could not agree more. The forum is a mess, with mutiple threads on the same topic.
I can only feel the pain a moderator must have, whose getting paid to read through it all and takes notes on the posts that are actually written in a productive and constructive manner. If I had this job, I would have suffered already a seizure. It's one thing to post a constructive list of issues about the game and another to open discussions about how other games are better at this or at that.
And just because a moderator may not reply to every thread on the forum, does not mean they are not reading what's being posted.
I guarantee you that they are reading and silently taking note of the most common occuring problems in the game for players, and likely even the least occuring issues.
Plus a moderator has likely to get the permission from higher up to reply about any updates the community is demanding answers to.
The game has not even been out for 3 months (3 months on Feb 18th), give them some time to get all their eggs in a basket (in a manner of speaking), they'll get their patch problems figured out in time and DLCs are surely bound to follow as well.
(After all, why would they not? DLCs = More profit earned from DA:I, it would be foolish not to develop any DLCs and loose out on more profit).
I'm not a fanboy, as you can tell by my name (A Fallout follower and modder more like it), but seeing some posts on the forum, I can't help but feel as though I am reading the rantings of ten year olds. (Not all posts, mind you, but a good portion of them).

You forgot "We need a Cullen romance" and "Why aren't they showing the Lady Inquisitor more in marketing" and the hundred other threads that usually aren't done by that crowd.

You know, the ones Bioware actually seems to listen to.

Yeah, it's pretty funny. Go to the Story, Campaign and Characters forum and you have to scroll past dozens of those "character squee" threads, LGBT romances, Krem talk etc. Nobody has a problem with that. Then one random guy comes in to the forums after playing the game and talks about straight romance options and then BAM!!, all the political vultures swoop down on that thread and bash the OP for asking whatever he asks for. Forget about whether or not it's reasonable.

Plenty of people have been posting about the issues they face in this game almost everyday, including myself(I posted about game AI recently). If only these people actually take the time and read the feedback section properly, instead squatting for hours in Character threads waiting for a straight guy to express his displeasure about something.

I've been following a lot of the romance and character threads in here and totally agree that the choices of romance in this game were very lacking and the characters looks did fall short when compared with Dragon Age origins. You would think that we would have more options on our hero for one, and better looking graphics on the other, especially on the xbox 360. What bothered me was the lack of romance options, not really whether they were straight or gay. Like someone else in here mentioned, I would have liked the option to romance scout Harding. Also, with Bianca gone, whats with Varric. And, what about the guys leaving the girls once they romance?? If I was a woman, I think I'd feel a little miffed on that one. Needs work guys....graphics, characters, stability, multiplayer, content, and quest completion.

I found this to be accurate.. Like a pack of ravenous hungry beasts ready to attack on "morally incorrrect" criticisms..

Quick question, I haven't seen any but if there were posts criticizing Sera or Gay male choices, are they too met with hostility?

I have had no problems what so ever with the game on my PS4 until the last patch - now  loading times have increased and I have almost no banter.... very weird. :(

So many complaints about the patch-choices... complaints I agree with, of course...

But do you believe for a second that the folks who make the patches, or those who make the decisions about what to patch, are ever going to re-add those convenient and useful exploits?

Not a hope in hell's chance.

I've been relying on exploits like that for fun in Bioware games (and others) for years. I've never seen a single one re-added after it has been removed (again that also applies to other games, like Bethesda stuff).  Once the decision has been made to remove a useful exploit... that is it... dead.
All we can hope for is a good save-editor.   ¬_¬

While I appreciate the developers taking the time to fix issues in the game, the fact is they leave out the more important stuff that is broken. As an example: Hinterlands Mosaic Collection. The damn thing is still broken and cannot be completed. After three patches this is not fixed yet?

I read over the patch notes and quite frankly I was flabbergasted at the lack of fixes. I’ve seen longer patches on other signal player games.

Since these patches have come out, especially the last one, I and my husband have ran into issues. The biggest issue is: “Wicked Eyes, Wicked Hearts.” We have run into a glitch that keeps us from returning the ballroom. After my husband tried numerous times to reload his save to “fix” this, his character still could not proceed in this quest. He got so p!ssed off, he shut the game down and went to bed.

Oh sure Bioware fix that gold exploit but don't fix bugged or broken quests.

Makes me wonder if they even bother testing these patches before they release them or we are just the rats.

There are things that are easy to fix and there are things that are much more difficult and time consuming to do.
