I reinstalled the complete DAO collection from Origins to my laptop (this laptop for the first time)- and I'm having trouble finding the override folder for the few mods I'd like to install (just some extra hairstyles and an eye/hair color mod). I'm aware of where to put the modded files, but I'm having trouble finding my override folder.

I would normally have just made my own, but I'm confused as to where to put it.

I'm on Windows 8 which may be the problem.

Here is where I would normally put it- in documents\bioware\dragonage\packages....

But there is no packages folder in that path.

Documents\BioWare\DragonAge\Settings\

Then it has addln and offers in two files under settings.

Now, if I go another route (I used Origin to download games)...

I can get here..

C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Dragon Age\packages\core

But no override folder.

help.

First, have you run the game yet, and then quit it?  It may not have generated the folders in your Documents folder yet.

You, my friend, are my hero.

Worked perfect, thanks. <3 <3 <3
