I want to make Bull useful when I'm not babysitting him 80% of the time so that means I need a fade-touched item that'll improve his survivability. Fade-touched silverite is an obvious candidate but I think FT dawnstone (heal 25% of damage taken over 10 secs) could also work, maybe not in terms of survivability but sustained DPS.

While I have yet to play with Friendly Fire, wonder if one of the AoE masterworks might be a good one for his armor and weaponry?

I've played with FF on, for a time, until I realized how much of a waste of time it can be. If you can be FF'd with the Chain Lightning spell then why not with the masterwork? Just a theory...

Fade touched sounds good in theory, but do you really want to be a blood thirsty reaver running around in pink armor

I was considering that IB would then damage his opponents as well as himself, which as a Reaver might not be a bad thing. But I have yet to use IB or Friendly Fire; just pondering the question.

"Heal 1% of maximum health on hit" is pretty much the best defensive masterwork. Fade touched snoufleur I think it is. You could also use the gain 5 guard on hit masterwork.

I'd go for fade touched silverite on armour for increased survivability, then on weapon, if you want more defensive, fade touched obsidian with +3guard on hit or fade touched snofleur skin with heal 1% max health on hit, or if you want to be more offensive, hidden blades masterwork (cant remember what gives it and am at work at moment), or possibly fade touched bloodstone for increased damage for each close by enemy.

It's pretty.

but it's pink

Bull is pretty much the squishiest party member IMO. I have to babysit him so much i usually just bench or don't recruit him.

make him SnS

Give him +5 and +3 guard and 1% heal on hit

disable ring of pain

set shield wall and dragon to preferred

For survivability, silverite is probably better than snoufleur. Snoufleur grants more hit points, but reavers benefit from having low health, so they should be focusing on guard generation rather than health generation. Maybe stack silverite and obsidian?

"X% chance to cast Y seconds of [defensive ability]" might be a good choice as well.

Perhaps this is a build that could take advantage of the Berserker effect.
