Hi

 

I got this game as a xmas present and despite me doing the can I run this and it said yes even on low game is totally unplayable.

 

My graphics card is the killer and I want to know what the cheapest graphics card (preferably nvidia) to be able to play this game in at least medium quality or higher I am on a very tight budget so nothing above £100.

Well I am running it on a geforce gt550 which I was told was pretty out of date by today's standards. My graphic settings aren't on ultra but I tuned down all the environmental elements and focused on characters. It does lag every now and then during gameplay but cut scenes are all good.

See that then get one that meets or exceeded minimum that you can afford. Prices vary from locale to locale so, shop around.

Thanks for the above reply the lowest card listed on there gets a lower score than my card (the gt545) but game is unplayable even on all low settings. Tge GTX660 is above my budget

You'll need a card with a 70 or better as the last two on AMD or, 60 or better on Nvidia. It isn't just about the benchmark scores, it's about what those cards support as far as shaders, AA, DX and so on. Perhaps a shop or someone you know has a non working computer with one of those cards, or you can find a referbished one at either a local shop or TigerDirect.

You might consider a GTX 650 Ti. I believe it's about $150 standard.

Mine blew up so I am using a temporary cheap option.

 

Nvidia Gt 740 2gb. £70 from Amazon and the game runs fine on medium.

Do tigerdirest ship to the uk? their prices are a lot cheaper than ours over here but i couldnt find the answer on their website. Also does anyone have any suggestions where I can get a refurbished card from there arent any shops in my area that sell these.
