I think top 20 games since 2010 will be a better title...
My list is consisted of PC games entirely:
1. Fallout: New Vegas
2. Civilization V: BNW
3. ME2
4. Dark Souls II
5. L.A. Noire
6. DA:I
7. Borderlands II
8. FIFA 141
9. Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag
10. Call of Duty: Black Ops II
11. Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II – Retribution
12. Crusader Kings II (With Rajas of India DLC!)
13. The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings
14. XCom: Enemy Unknown
15. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
16. Divinity: Original Sin
17. Lego Marvel Superheroes (Best Lego game ever!)
18. Portal 2
19. Deus Ex: Human Revolution
20. Mortal Kombat IX
1: the perfect soccer game, FIFA 11 was cool and unique, FIFA 12 and 13 were good but inferior, FIFA 15 is garbage and don't even talk about non-FIFA soccer games!
Sadly I haven't played AC II, Batman Arkham City, Valkyria Chronicles and a few other praised games, If I did I would put them in my list more likely.

Those that spring to mind (so far)
Persona 4 Golden
Persona Q
Fire Emblem: Awakening
Catherine
Bayonetta 2
Xenoblade Chronicles
Dragon's Dogma (Really fun combat & gameplay)
South Park: Stick of Truth (A mix between Earthbound and Paper Mario blended with excellent design that makes it feel like you're playing an actual episode of the show. Really fun)
Alan Wake (Unique-Twin-Peaks-based-psychological-tension along with some decent combat is what makes this game so great)
Dragon Age Inquisition
Arkham City
Alpha Protocol
Red Dead Redemption
Shadow of Mordor (Pretty fun for its intuitive enemy AI mechanics)

Europa Universalis IV
EU IV seems like a less popular game comparing to CKII and Victoria II. Why you like it more than those two?

My favorite is CK2 and I prefer EU4's time period over Victoria's. So there's that.
If you mean popular in terms of mods then meh.
