AFTER 2010, or including it? If included, I'd say a couple of games like Mass Effect 2 or Fallout New Vegas.

And how are we defining "top games?" Just by our personal opinion? If so, I'd say...

(after 2010)

ME3 (the ending to one of the greatest game series of all time--truly unprecedented in its (the series) approach to RPGs and a persistent character--the closest we've seen since is TW and it is a poor contender at best (considering how little control you have over Geralt))

AC IV Black Flag (the interplay between the present day and history is excellent, Edward is a good character, while the AxT story does very little (outside of introducing a huge piece of lore) the character story is one of the best I've seen in a game, and to top it all off the gameplay alone can carry the game)

Final Fantasy XIII-2 (the best portrayal of time travel and its consequences I've ever seen, with a brilliant, brilliant focus on on how the smallest action can break the timeline)

Deus Ex: Human Revolution (introduced me to Deus Ex, and came at a time when I was afraid I wouldn't be able to enjoy FPS games anymore)

Skyrim (a game, and series really, that puts even Bioware to shame (simply by its nature as a sandbox) with their realization of lore integrated into the game world, through books, quests, and just the world itself)

Bioshock Infinite (a truly amazing game that shows the powerful, powerful ability of a game to be atmospheric in a way that books and movies will never be, combined with a plot that, while having large flaws, is clearly lovingly crafted from, quite literally, the very first conversation in the game ("he doesn't row." "What do you mean he doesn't row?" "No. He doesn't row." "Ah.")

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance (this game introduced me to Metal Gear, and brought a whole new aspect of action Platinum Games--swordplay based with dodges and parries, all this combined with an intriguing at times but unabashedly over-the-top story that involves a US Senator picking up a cyber ninja and punting him like a football)

AC Brotherhood (in my opinion the pinnacle of the AC games--it recycles the plot of AC2, but keeps it in the family. Involves a moderately sized cast of characters that, while usually not interacting much, occasionally come together in great ways. Gameplay is enjoyable--it introduced the counter-kill movement that, while breaking the combat difficulty, also introduced a new emergent mechanic of a "flow" of attacks that was realized in AC3. Additionally, it brought in the Brotherhood, a unique mechanic that made the concept of being in charge of an organization like that so much more real. All in all I think AC2-AC:B are the high point of the series, and worth revisiting at least once a year)

Dragon Age Inquisition (I'll be honest, I'm a little trepidatious (that is now a word) about this one. I played it the week after release, tried to get back into it with a mage for like three hours, but otherwise haven't touched it since. Despite this, however, I really do think this game has so many great things about it. The lore, and not only lore but lore development (things actually changing within the game lore) is incredible (that after-credits scene, man). I think that it's probably the best representation of organizational power I've seen in an RPG like this (which isn't to say it doesn't have its faults, like herding flipping druffalo)--the power mechanic and War Table are things that should have been in ME3. The realization of lore through the game world is an all-time high for Bioware (at least since KotOR). The character development, especially with the reaction wheel, is much stronger than it's been for the past few Bioware games. Unfortunately tactical combat (outside of the tactical camera) is utterly broken, and the lack of tactics is absolutely unforgivable--but disregarding combat (and of course, the overwhelming amount of shards-level fetch quests), I think this is one of the best games Bioware has made)

(-) points for including ME3. <_<

I've played DA:I for 21 hours and it's awesome. Still can't close rifts that has grannies witches in them (even with Iron Bull)!
