Hi all. Just a quick question - what should I be salvaging to get leather?

 

I've been salvaging anything that I get a duplicate of and, I seem to be going against the grain, I've got loads of cloth, but only 1 unit of leather in the 3 weeks I've been playing. Is this just a case of the RNG having it in for me?

I understand that staves tend to return cloth and melee weapons return metals - what do I break down for leather?

 

Apologies if this question has been asked before, but I tried googling it and tried searching for it on the forums, and everyone else seems to be complaining at the abundance of the stuff.

Rogue stuff. Daggers, bows, and medium armor upgrades will all give leather. Salvaging runes will give one piece of each crafting material.

You don't need to keep one of every item, one of each type of weapon/two daggers (by which I mean mace, sword, and axe, not just one 1H) is all you really need, maybe with one or two alternates if you have things are good in different situations.
