Alas the Ligue 1 is the worst championship among the top 5 european countries (though the italian Serie A is no longer as good as it was some years ago).

My only thoughts on the superb owl is that American football is almost as boring as British football.

OK folks, permit me if you will, to enlighten those of you who do not grasp the nature of this great game.  It's attraction is that it is both elegant and brutal--the consummate test of finesse and physicality.  The Super Bowl is like the World Cup--only every year!  Here in the US, it's a highly anticipated and celebrated holiday.  Oh, and it's not spelled "football"....it's spelled "FOOTBALL !!!"

Football. AMERICAN FOOTBALL. Is 100x better than any sport in the world. Its a chess game. And a physical gladiator sport. If you don't like it or undersatnd it thats fine. But you are missing out on the greatest single sport ever

There was Brutal Sports Football on the Amiga which was Krogan-worthy. There was three different teams; vikings, rams and rhinos. (when completing the series you found out that they were all actually terminators)

"The gameplay is fast and flowing, and has one rule - if you can't get the ball, get the man, and decapitate him if possible."

There was also Mutant League Football on the Sega Megadrive - it was basically Madden with monsters, that was fun.

... and of course, Blood Bowl.

Funny, I thought it was basically rugby for pansies who spent more time standing around talking than actually running with the ball ... my bad :P

What do I know though, I like Cricket!

Pansies?

Name another sport with veteran players that commit suicide WHILE avoiding brain damage in the hopes that their autopsy will advance research into the dangers of said sport.

**** that got really dark.

....

No wait...

Tie game at half :\

This may as well be soccer.

In my mind this all makes sense, but I am abusing Splashtop while waiting for the next round to show up at my table.

Dear Patriots - thanks for the victory but maybe some time we could have one that doesn't nearly cause me a heart attack (and add several grey hairs).

I'm sorry Seattle fans. I've been where you are. You have a great team but I'm just glad I don't have to watch another d*** circus catch replayed over and over again for years.

I know next to nothing about American football but even I could work out that last play by the Seahawks was a terribad decision.
