Sorry if something like this has already been made. I've looked around and couldn't find anything.
But I was wondering whether someone/something else could have created them.
The Primeval Thaig being among the most obvious evidence that Deep Roads, or a version of it, existed a lot earlier. Even as part of Arlathan, considering the statues worshipping gods, the magic used to create architecture and lyrium deposits there. The profane's existence also seems in line with how the Ancient Elves left behind their slaves and workers in the caverns. Even the Shapers didn't have records of this thaig! Which suggests there could be more like it that predate Dwarven history.
Also, were the "Old Gods" in the Deep Roads already? Or did they travel there? I know the Codex Entries in Inquisition say that the Magisters/Darkspawn started to explore the tunnels to find them.
I'm sure there's other stuff out there in the Codex that has more interpretations on the Deep Roads. So if anyone has theories and ideas, please post.
