I found on the internet that we can find 3 runes of a kind. But I didn't read their location. I'd like to find them myself, but is there a way to know that a rune is around?
How can I know that a place has runes?

well places with veil fire in them usually have runes on the wall, you need to find glimps on the wall and click it with veil fire with you and you will unlock rune schematics (it's not always rune schematics though)
other then that some chests drop runes, there is one in the tomb of fairel if i recall.

Yes, I have three runes now, one found in Hinterlands, one in Stormcoast and I can't remember where I found the third one, but I am not yet able to make them. It's just that I thought "Where lies the green flame, there lies a rune". But then the internet, a DAI Wiki page, told me that there are three runes to find ): The green fire was the clue for me... Man, that will be hard.
