Dragon Age Origins... by light years!
And I like DA2 much, much better than DAI. Even though they dumbed it down with crappy action combat and reused every map like 737 times, at least in the end it had great characters, great voice acting, and a great story. DAI has almost nothing going for it except some lovely visuals. Oh, and a new way to explore the extremes of boredom and repetition.

Hard to compare such different games. But in the matter of the overall experience: Origins, without doubt. For me Origins = Dragon Age.
I absolutely agree. It was a PC game and it worked like a PC game. To me, the graphics have improved tremendously with each sequel, but keeps diminishing in options and original strengths. I would even go on to say that Origins is the best offering of all Bioware/Black Isle/Obsidian/Bethesda products.

Origins.
DA:I has that boring tactik-action hybrid Combat System, and a standard Shiny-Epic-Hollywood Style Storyline.

DAO I was addicted to that game for over a year and bought a PC so I could play it with mods. Literally the reason I bought an $1800 gaming rig was to play DAO and mod the crap out of it because I loved the characters and wanted to see how their stories were supposed to play out. I played DAI 1 and 2/3 times and I am bored with it. I played DA2 more than that. So DAO every. Single. Time. Story was more engaging, choices were more meaningful and divergent and characters were better Noone will ever top that cast. The characters were fleshed out and nuanced. Especially Morrigan and Zevran. No game ever made me feel as connected to the story as DAO no game since has come close except ME2

Wait... I'm gonna study ninja arts so that I can Kage Bunshin no Jutsu with Kyuubi's Chakra, Sage of Six Paths Power and Hashirama Cells to vote properly in ORIGINS

Origins for sure. When I sold my PS3 this time last year I had around 30 completed playthroughs and many others that weren't finished. Haven't finished Inquisition yet and doubt that I will.

Origins
-Side Quests were better
-Main quest were more connected
-better villains
-better companions
-TACTICAL F****** CAMERA
-more lore that it built from scratch
-Pretty interaction with characters
-DARK tone
-better combat
I'll take that over what inquisiton seemed to have improved over Origins; Graphics and fluid combat

I have to say, I just played Origins for my first time after already playing DA2 and DAI, and not since Hawke's mother's death have I felt so emotional, but more frequently then that one time in DA2! The brutality in it, the gore, the deaths, the emotions of love/hate is overwhelming! The other 2 games never made me feel truly connected as if I WAS the character. It's been quiet a ride and is truly the darkest in the series, so I lean mostly to DAO for what I've experienced with it. Even the romances feel more real with the slower progression.
I do love them all, but for different reasons (DAO for growing with the character and becoming the hero, DA2 for friendships and vengeance and making the right choice, and DAI for hope, faith and love), but DAO offers a bit of all 3 imo.

Origins. I like DAI, but the premise takes a huge suspension of disbelief for me which keeps me from loving it.
In Origins it made sense that you, the only one (of two) who could save the world, were going out in small groups. Even in DA2 it made sense as for most of the game you were a nobody. But in DAI, you are the only person who can close rifts and so are the only chance at all of overcoming the big bad, there's no way you should be going out alone. And you have an army and mercenaries at your disposal. Why is anyone letting you out without a proper escort again? Why are you out collecting bodies instead of having your army escort you to rifts for you to close?
However, I just ignore that bit and have fun with the game anyway.

I agree. I enjoy Inquisition; but I wish being the leader of a religious Crusade was more epic. I really enjoyed how Awakening delt with the PC being the leader of the Ferelden Wardens. In Inquisition, the advisors are the ones who are really running the organisation -- The Inquisitor is just there to seal rifts.

I think Cassandra and the Iron Bull makes one heck of a Secret Service Escort.
