I was kind of afraid of this, to be honest. I remember the devs saying how disappointed they were with people's reactions to DA2, so they skipped out on the Expansion they planned. Said expansion then becoming Inquisition. And now, with all the negative feedback after years of development, maybe they've just said, "Screw it, they have enough content as it is."
I know a number of people who have played it several times over, but I only just finished my second playthrough and am disappointed that there are no major DLCs announced so far.
Does this worry anyone else?
So, no Story DLC announcements, huh?

Not really. As long as the game sells , we'll get something.
It's only been what....4 months since DAI came out?
If there is still no word in Summer 2015 I would worry.

I don't see all this negative feedback, honestly.
Agreed. There are issues with the game for sure, but people are surprisingly constructive on this forum.

Well, they released Legacy to a pretty good reception (I think people were just glad to have some new environments to explore rather than the same old coast and cave), the Felica Day/Tallis lovefest.....not so much.
How big was the Exalted March going to be anyway ?

The game has sold very well being Biowares' most successful launch, so you can expect DLC perhaps even more than originally planned.
I think March:April time for announcement so four to fives months after release seem acceptable. Wait too long and people will move on to the next big game to play.
Only negative feedback has been in the forum in a tiny amount and few articles on gaming websites the general reaction has be great for game overall. I've seen people who don't enjoy the game but don't hate it, only apathetic to the game as whole.

Whilst the game has its flaws, the criticism I see so far has mostly to do with other things than story. So, a stance saying 'oh, you don't like the game, so no more story content for you!' seems unlogical to me. In my opinion, it would take away one of the stronger sides of Bioware games. I don't need another fetch quest/sword/multiplayer thingy, but give me more story content, and I'd be happy.

I'd agree with this. I know in this day and age people are used to hearing and even having DLCs a month after release- but to me all that says is it was content that should have been included in the original game and wasn't. Bioware is one of the few companies I will actually buy dlc from because I don't feel like this is something they do to their customers.
But I'm also very cynical.

Based on their previous release patterns, I predict two or three pieces of single-player, story-based DLC will come out between now and November. First one will probably be in March or April, although I guess it could be as late as June or July. (I'm hoping for March, so I can play it before Pillars of Eternity releases.)
Day one DLC aside, it's not typical for BioWare to release DLC quickly or to talk about it long in advance of its release date. The game has been a critical success and seems to have sold well, so I'm sure they'll want to put out more content.

It's actually only been a little over 2 months since the game came out. There will be DLC and probably not to long from now we'll start hearing announcements. I wouldn't be worried. Though I suspect they really want to get the main game functioning as best as possible before working on promoting DLC. From what I understand people on PC (and last gen maybe?) are still having some serious issues with bugs.

Same here, I'm very unhappy with a lot of things in DAI, but my only problem wth story is that there's too litlle of it, so, yes, please, give us a few story DLCs ![]()

Aside from a vocal minority on this forum, I've seen no major negative feedback for DAI (unlike DA2 and ME3) so I'm still expecting story DLC......it would be a major error not to 'cash in' on the good reviews and sales DAI seems to be having. I'd be very surprised if we do not see some story DLC for DAI, especially as the war table seems to have been designed with adding DLC missions in mind.

A few points to keep in mind:
- They just returned to work from fall break not a month ago.
- They appear to be focused on patches at the moment.
- The game hasn't been out for three months. I'd give it another ~2 months.

Did you skip breakfast? 100 GotY awards does not equate with negative feedback, despite some criticisms the game also earns.

Story DLC wont be out for a while at this point they seem focused on the MP DLC
You are not talking about the 'Distraction Destruction' DLC and the non-existent map variation from the 3rd patch, are you?

And even then, despite all the negative feedback for both DA2 and ME3, both had substantial amounts of DLC, some mighty good ones I might add.

I'm not concerned as to me this game still feels very new. They're still ironing out the bugs in the game and releasing patches. I personally would be really disappointed to hear about DLC before the bugs had been dealt with, especially the ones which prevent the completion of certain side quests.

Some story would be nice, if you just take story into account the game is fairly short. Thankfully I enjoy all of it so I get 100 hours in a play through.
I'd love to see some more customization of Skyhold personally. More armor, more hairstyles as well ![]()

No. In my humble opinion this is the moment to focus on bug fixing, which in this case is (sadly) by no means a small task .
Story DLC can be left for later, so they have something to bring back the people who said "screw it" and moved on, can attract the people who decided to not buy based on negative opinions, and to cash in so they can pay the people who worked extra hours in fixes.
