Why are you trolling?   Did you even read this?

*snip*

I love how people think saying something makes a person a troll. I was responding to something on the other page, so obviously no, I did not.

Still, it's weird that this would even be the concern. Like, I don't see why they couldn't simply say "We have some ideas but nothing is confirmed as of yet." At least that way, it would give people some real answers, rather than skirting around the issue.

I'm expecting to hear that someting is in the work after patch 5, or 6 if 5 needs a hotfix that gets called six. Perhaps mid March to Mid April for a June release.

Would be nice if their next update had a fix for the Qunari armor too. -_-

Bioware has gotten into the habit of announcing DLC 2 weeks before release.

The did not announce DA2's DLC until about 3 and a half months after the game released. DAI has not been out for three whole months yet plus the Bioware employee's had a holiday break not long after the games release. They will have a couple pieces of DLC, I am sure.

We know for sure that we will get one at least. Microsoft announced that it would get the first single-player DLC first on Xbox consoles.

Yeah...if and when they announce story DLC, the interesting part will be how long everyone not playing on XBox One is going to wait.

  I'll be playing other games, not waiting on the side lines for the PC DLC. It's always a pleasant surprise to waltz back several months later to find something has developed.

Most likely a month, if it's anything like Skyrim.

Isn't there the whole issue of Bioware advertising Xbox One timed exclusive DLC for DAI? I imagine it is coming eventually, maybe Bioware is making a big expansion pack instead of just a small little 2-3 hour DLC.

(to Dr. Rush) They have said there will be no expansion-sized content.

It's actually only been a little over 2 months since the game came out.

That is some seriously fuzzy math you must be using.

It will come with time, I guarantee you that much. This launch has been called the most successful in biowares history by EA themselves, they will be trying to milk it for sure.

I'm not even thinking about DLC for the moment. XBox One owners will probably get the first DLC at the six to nine month mark, and, due to timed exclusivity, everyone else will see it three to six months later. That's assuming they were able to get any work done on the first DLC prior to release, instead of having to work right up to the wire because they shoehorned in unnecessary race selection.

There will always be negative feedback. If a company would say "Screw them!" because of that, then they wouldn't be a very good company. Feedback is good, helps them know what they might do differently next time. Even the feedback worded in a rude and unconstructive way has to be thought about. Whether they act on the feedback is their call of course.

And about the DLC, looking back at when the previous DLC's were releases, I expect an announcement end this month.

Company announces DLC > gamers: "OMG, should have been in the main game, publisher milking franchise, pre-order cancelled"
Company does not announce DLC > gamers: "OMG, lack of post-launch support, they don't want our money, pre-order cancelled"

Agreed. There are issues with the game for sure, but people are surprisingly constructive on this forum.

I've never ever seen someone post this before about BSN.....damn I've just been twilight zoned

I was kind of afraid of this, to be honest. I remember the devs saying how disappointed they were with people's reactions to DA2, so they skipped out on the Expansion they planned. Said expansion then becoming Inquisition. And now, with all the negative feedback after years of development, maybe they've just said, "Screw it, they have enough content as it is."

I know a number of people who have played it several times over, but I only just finished my second playthrough and am disappointed that there are no major DLCs announced so far.

Does this worry anyone else?

Wait whats DA2? Ahhh you mean DAI ofc!

There will be DLC for both SP and MP.

SP Story DLC will occur post-game.

Expect news of an announcement within the next two months.

/thread

We don't need MP dlc, frankly the game needs no Multiplayer. What we need is a DLC the size of Awakenings.

That's because DA2 was terrible.

Then we are getting screwed, because Awakenings was awesome.

I'd be happy with a storage chest and qunari armour dlc.

This a million times! God my armor looks so bland on any race of my characters. I can't seem to find anything worth while and some seem to just be reskins of other gear.

Honestly I'd rather see them spend all their development time on the next dragon age from now on rather than a 2 hour DLC or two. I don't need side-stories... only bridging content.
